Description: Everyone gets handed a script growing up. Mine told me to keep the peace, never need too much, and stay small enough to not be a problem. This track is me realizing that the script kept me alive once but now it’s killing me. So I’m rewriting it.

This is the story of growing up in a world where softness is punished and called weakness. I learned early to hide my sensitivity, my intuition, my heart. This track is me reclaiming those things and saying out loud that softness is not the opposite of strength, it is strength.

DON’T BE SOFT

This is the moment the “funny friend” breaks character. The smile stops working. The jokes stop landing. It’s when the people around you still see entertainment, but you feel like you’re dying inside. It’s what happens when performing becomes too heavy to carry.
