ALBT Presents OneFold DGTL Volume 2

Jaksan hits DGTL with this 3 track EP, all 3 tracks telling a different story. Power is is a hard hitting bass roller with punchy drum. Some nicely used vocal helps move this along, however the electronic sound overall makes this track sound out.

Title track Trabajo is a well oiled production. Keeping the drums to a minimum, yet effective style pushes this along nicely. Hypnotic Baselines and synths add to this all round groover.

Last up is the track entitled Dice. Percussive beats, hard hitting drums and a straight to the point bassline. Adding some nice subtle effects and vox leads the breakdown which doesn't disappoint. Overall 3 tracks of the highest quality sure to please every dance floor.

OneFold Records welcomes Louis 42 not only onto the label but into the music industry. Having self released over the last year or so now Louis agreed to jump on board with the label and we're pleased to have him on the roster and to be apart of his journey.

'Put In The Work' was one of the tracks that stood out to us and had that OneFold sound, great vocals, keys and melodies. 

We expect to see alot more of Louis in the future, in the meantime check this out and hear what he has to bring to the table.

The next release on OneFold DGTL comes courtesy of up and coming house duo, KILMER. The progressively charming 'Phat Nanny' serves as a worthy debut on our imprint and showcases his innate ability to weave charismatic dancefloor heaters with relative ease.

Opening the two-track package is the title track, 'Phat Nanny'. A refreshing bed of clean-cut 4/4 rhythm and layers of crisp percussion allow the rising melodics to delicately bubble up throughout the track. An atmospheric track with an unbelievably wide soundstage and seamless tonal progressions that melt in and out of each other. An undeniably unique mixture of House, Tech House and even hints of Melodic Techno in places; built for the peak hours of the party.

Making up the second half of the package, 'Rhinohead' cuts a groovier line but keeps the robust energy to an impressively high level. Minimalist in its approach with tonal toms and intricate percussive factors, the track is driven by a roaring sub-bass underbelly that screams terrace bomb from the outset. Rolling Tech House with a Big Room feel hints of Acid, Rave and so much more. Yet another unparalleled piece of music from KILMER to complete a pleasantly varied release.
