With a career spanning more than a decade, Leonardo’s DJ career started in Florence in 2001, and was heavily influenced by the acid-house and Detroit techno scenes that stormed the 90s. His dynamic and innovative approach to making music has captured the attention of high profile artists such as Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones, Adam Bayer, Marco Carola, Sven Vath, Dubfire and many others. 

He has released  with some of the most important labels in the underground scene such as Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It imprint, Get Physical Music, Viva Music, 20/20 Vision and Hot Since82’s Knee Deep In Sound imprint.

Here he makes his Circus Recordings debut, with a super cool, understated, straight up groove, no unnecessary over production, this one is for the heads...
The release comes as an Italian trio, with Stefano Noferini and The Mekanism making their Circus debuts too.

Roush returns with a fresh new edition of its OFF Sonar Sampler this June, featuring tracks from the likes of Javi Bora & Piem, Jairo Delli, FreedomB and more. Founded by Hector Couto back in 2013, Roush looks set to enjoy it's biggest year to date, celebrating it's fifth anniversary in style having already welcomed notable names such as Steve Lawler, DJ W!ld, Tuccillo and Phil Weeks to the label. With Sonar just around the corner, the Tenerife based imprint continues it's 'Sampler' series this June, delivering thirteen fresh cuts that are set to make an impact across Barcelona's infamous OFF week. Label favourite Javi Bora opens proceedings alongside Piem to deliver the dynamic 'King Of Vila', before rising talent Jairo Delli delivers 'Body Pi', fusing slick percussion fills and vibrant synth builds. Next up, FreedomB and Space Jump Salute combine on 'All Night Tonight', whilst Gav Whitehouse lays down chunky kicks and spiraling lead lines for his label debut entitled 'They're Coming". Drastic Duo and Taty Munoz both shift the focus towards percussive territories, Manu Gonzalez's 'Mind Games' introduces infectious vocals amongst nostalgic house tones to reveal a production that's set to become a favourite of many in the months ahead, whilst Picca & Mars' and Gorkiz & Killed Kassette's cuts see both pairings opt for skipping hats woven amongst driving low-end grooves. To close, Dutch talent Gerbert Vos unveils the dark and kinetic 'Give It', Luigi Rocca and Anis Hachemi combine to drop the thunderous 'Rawtomation', Tuffdub & Aday Chinea's 'Da Menace' combines booming claps and stuttered vocal samples, before Makanan & Iva Dive punctuate the package with the bright and bumping 'Mondadito'. Roush's 'OFF Sonar Sampler 2018' is out on 11th June 2018.

Warming up with some low, fluid tech-house, we bring you Ian Jay with 'Do That Thing', a growling cut with chunky bass and infectious vocal looping beat. We travel north of the border next for heavy-footed house beast, 'Bass, Drums & House Music', from Scottish talents Luke Davidson, DJ Ryan Harvey & Loyd Howes, before lightening the mood with an eclectic, groove-centric mix from Southern talent Caruna, 'Mindblank'. 

Chad (UK) is next to take the reigns with a punchy, dance floor beckoning cut bursting with attitude, 'Horizon', all hard-hitting beats and whirring synths. And it's only right we round this prestigious selection off with an after-hours drop of apocalyptic proportions, Gordon John's 'Got The Sauce', whose larger than life beats, jarring percussion and insane builds have us booking our flights to Dam before the track's final drop.
