Always striving to be at the forefront of innovative vocal house, Onefold once again prove they are top of their game with this next release from Deep Matter, Everything.

Building from a jittering, groove laden beat, the Northen duo’s original mix comes to life with an infectious melody and deep, vocal hook. Taking down the pace midway through, the producers bring a second, softer vocal to the table, ending up with an impressively versatile sound.

On the flip side, we’ve got three massive producing forces to take the reigns for the remixes. From over the pond, NYC producer Greco wows us with a meatier sound, bringing the bass into focus alongside pulsating, muted synths.

Up next is Midlands duo Abstract & Logic, and this is definitely a re-work with main-rooms in mind. Bursting with energy, this full-throttle mix unashamedly pushes the melody to its funk-fuelled potential.

Rounding off the EP is Welsh talent Jay Robinson, whose mix is almost unrecognisable from the original. Delicate piano lines and ethereal melodies transform Everything into a gorgeously detailed slice of chilled, glitched house.

An incredible EP that's equally likely to dominate mixes, as it is to become a go-to peak time anthem.

It’s always a thrill to welcome back one of the most unique and successful acts in our roster. Berlin based Cord and Sacha, duo also known as Robosonic, have been crafting hip hop and soul infused house jams for OFF Recordings in the last couple of years. 
While staying true to themselves in keeping an undogmatic approach to club music, this sound has become a solid parameter in their energetic DJ performances. We are happy to bring them back with an EP showcasing all of this magic in 3 amazingly engineered tracks. 

On this release with the lucky golden era catalogue number „93“, Robosonic's organic blend of classy house music and classic hiphop goes next level again: New York rap legend Masta Ace, originally part of the famed Juice Crew in the mid-80s (with Marley Marl, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane among others!), known for collaborations with artists such as MF Doom, influencing rappers like Eminem, and still now known as one of the realest rappers alive, made a teenage dream come true for Cord when he recorded an original feature part and hook for Robosonic on top of their soulful "Good Old Feel"! A radio cut, boasting the full vocal performance by Masta Ace, is not included in this 3-tracker, but rather saved up for the upcoming Robosonic album. 

“Dedicated” builds on a vinyl from Sacha’s collection – this dirty jacking track is a dancefloor bomb! Uncompromisingly fun to play and dance to, it features a catchy sax lick and hip hop vocal cuts, toying with ghetto snare rolls and punchy drums. A nasty piece of house music that’s hard to forget. 

Finally, “Life Is Like” completes this journey into the golden age of hip hop. Inspired by one of the greatest producers of this era, sample workout and vocal cuts mix perfectly with drum machine beats and bass-heavy drops. There‘s even a crafty shout out to Big L, who used to speak with criminal slang, until the sad day he was shot...

Sometimes, when talking about musicians who chose to remain faceless it’s easier [read: simpler] to just start with the facts. Much respected in house and techno circles, ItaloJohnson are a Berlin based trio who release what they call ‘functional sketches’ that combine their own array of influences with a very un-complex formula; on vinyl and on their own label. They have, so far, unleashed eight stamped platter transmissions, which have all been released with the same minimal fanfare but, as their sparse and monochrome website states: “ItaloJohnson is in no way trying to reinvent the wheel, rather trying to create reduced and functional sketches which can carry emotions through a DJ and dancefloor oriented sound.”

Seemingly more than aware of their place and the impact the music they produce and release is having in certain club spaces, they’ll be appearing at WetYourSelf’s Bank Holiday celebration on Sunday 24th August in Room One alongside the WYS! Residents Cormac, Peter Pixzel and Jacob Husley. Ahead of their appearance they’ve crafted a thoughtfully rugged and essential promotional mix that will undoubtedly go a long way to learn you way more about their outlook and their music than this fact-found introduction ever could…

"Worst Love" uses an anthemic sample to create a groovy dancefloor burner with tight groove.

Doctor Dru delivers a contemporary underground pop remix.

Fritz Zander from the Suol collective made a "Panorama Bar 9 am"-styled remix for the real house-heads.
