The Flying Lodge, which initially took the form of an episodic sound theatre of sorts; arrives at its conclusion with the release of Flying Lodge: All Stars - a compilation where a whirlwind of various sound narratives conjoin towards a celebration of queerness and ephemeral unity.

Within this compilation, GOLCE arranges into formation a playful prelude to clubbing, which is then followed by the jarring spearhead noise of Rosaceae, a hardcore disassembly of song structure. 

Tina DJ on the other hand creates a mechanized fictional landscape whose movements correspond to respective melodies, Semka follows suit and strips that correspondence down to abstraction.  

The finesse of PRICE which leads gracefully into a refined and ritualized romance is followed up by the drowned-out poetry of Ivye, expressed through an intimate recollection of isolated vocals and broken down rhythms.
Lastly the enmeshed vocals of Yesh, carry out a symphonic epilogue, heavied with R&B lyricism.

All Stars finds continuity in its doing and undoing of narrative; through creation and negation - it illustrates the aesthetic unity to be found in such unlikely timings as well as the invisible ties that bind us to one another.

OFTV 1: Whatever Happened To Rachel

In this episode of OFTV, we'll take a look at Vancouver's Golden Age of Prostitution from 1975-1985, in which Indigenous trans sex workers ruled the streets of the West End. We'll discuss how sex workers organized for their rights and safety, in opposition to gay white residents groups, the police, and the state. So tune in and get all the dirt, gossip, and glamour from trans history!

Born in Japan, raised in France/the UK and now based in London, E L L E is an exciting new voice rising from the rap underground. An entirely self-sufficient artist, her previously two singles (‘Hyacinth Kiss‘ and ‘Cookies‘) have been self-produced, with accompanying unsettling self-made videos that invite us into her world. A top-to-bottom banger, follow-up track ‘HYDRA’ snarls with noisy punk spirit, injected with E L L E’s sharp vocals: “Ain’t it funny how money breeds money”. “The track is sonically inspired by construction sites and the unstoppable and terrifying growth of urban sprawl,” E L L E explains. “I wanted to make a track that felt like the subway chase from Tetsuo the Iron man.”
