As if born from light, a celestial body emerges from within.

The painting artwork is a physical manifestation of the frequencies.

These selected songs were finished with a recording session in the Dots Gallery Teufelsberg, sending the music into the dome installation for added natural reverb textures. More information on the installation check our project 'Teufelsberg Domecast'.

Exploration is a constant in his work, where the pieces often evoke images or entire visual sequences. His music is contaminated with the hardness of the concrete and metal of the city that will symbolically impregnate his works.

This project captures natural and post-industrial elements shaped by atmospheres of "Technological Rarefaction" sometimes with serious or lighter comments on society

His sounds become a den of communication and thought capable of eluding the mind and reaching directly into the unconscious, converging on an inner path in dialogue with the multiple remnants of the self.

He delves into sound synthesis techniques with oscillators and synthesizers, harmonising them with a contextual search for melody and devoting himself to temporal and timbral deconstruction in the form of a cosmic journey.

Run by @AaronJmusic, the US-based podcast and event series @Sure_Thing launches its own label. It's first release is "Arcadia EP" by Italian @SimoneBauer, with one of the tracks remixed by Refracted. Monument premieres track "Nereide" from the release, that is out on vinyl on September 6th, and in digital format on September 19th.

The Stellar Transitions adventure started three years ago, with the beginning of the "Stellar Series" podcast channel, dedicated to the exploration of ambient, drone and experimental music related to the hypnotic techno scene. Now as there's almost 50 episodes on the channel, it's time to unveil the second part of the adventure. Here is the very first release of the Stellar Transitions music label.

This is the first chapter of a new serie of V.A. releases with tracks from artists that have already contributed to the podcast channel in the past. You have to know, Stellar Transitions is a project about light - this serie will tell the spiritual story of the light through a 24-hour earth day.

The first track, from french Martin Goodwin, is a solar track that evolves between distant noise, organic drones and a big work on the textures.
The second, from french Adhémar, is a 10 minutes meditative ambient track that inspire to an exploration on the deeper side of your inner self. Close your eyes.
With the third from another french as Vâyu, the first light of the day starts to appear. The beautiful synth pads, the sparkling percs and the moving bassline leads you to a transcendental journey.
The fourth and last is from serbian Zhe Pechorin, and its name, "On My Way to Home", sounds like an evidence at the listening : this emotive, soothing ambient track is the accurate soundtrack to the end of a long night, at the moment where you see the first sunbeams on the way back to home. A beautiful epilogue to the journey.

Now, the dawn breaks.

Scav (Sofia, Bulgaria) | ‘The waves of Iskar’

We enter the icy but at the same time warm and calm waters of the Iskar River, ready for a proper sailing. The first 1/4 we plow through the (sound) waves and we realize how vital, flexible and millenary the largest entirely Bulgarian river becomes. Foamy waves (subtle noisy soundscapes), tame waves (robotic and metallic textures), calm waves (lovely quiet low groovy textures), and hopeful waves (subtle melodic arp progressions) spilling down the sides of the boat (ears) make that we can move forward with clarity and self- determination. The following 2/4 the river slightly begins to shake causing dark and restless waves (wonderful dark drone perfectly combined with high frequency penetrating sounds) to give truce again and respite to this marvelous journey. 3/4 completed and the beautifulness of the rocky landscapes (soundscapes) are otherworldly. For thousands of years the (sound) waves of Iskar have made their way into the rock, carving out forms of incredible shape and (sound) design, which have impressed every visitor (listener). 4/4 we made it. And you, will you navigate the (sound) waves or will you get caught at the tide? 

*The closing set was recorded in September near the river at the Iskar Gorge, where Balkan Station open air festival took place.
