Having been a Universal Edition composer since April 2022, Yiu-Kwong Chung is one of Taiwan’s best-known and most sought-after composers. He was a Professor of Music at the National Taiwan University of Arts until 2022 and was the General Director of the Taipei Chinese Orchestra (TCO) from 2007 to 2015. During his tenure with TCO, he has written concerti for numerous top-class soloists, including percussionist Evelyn Glennie, trombonist Christian Lindberg, saxophonist Claude Delangle, cellist Mischa Maisky and Anssi Karttunen, flutists Pierre-Yves Artaud and Sharon Bezaly, in addition to renowned Kronos Quartet; all were world-premiered by the TCO. In June 2012, he conducted the orchestra’s European Tour (with soloist Evelyn Glennie). He staged performances in Bridgewater Hall in Manchester and Le Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris that brought immediate international fame to the Orchestra. From 2009 to 2015, he produced six CDs released worldwide by Swedish BIS Records.

I WAS RASIED IN EAST LONDON AND STARTED RAPPING FOR THE FIRST TIME WHEN I WAS 16. FOR 2 YEARS ME AND SOME LOCAL FRIENDS OF MINE RAPPED TO A (GRIME) OUR CREW WAS CALLED (MILITARY SOLDIERS).WE WERE VERY GOOD BUT NONE OF US TOOK IT SERIOUS SOME OF US WENT ON RADIO A FEWS TIMES ASWELL. INTERNET WAS NOT POPULAR FOR MUSIC AT THE TIME. MOST PEOPLE USED RADIO OR CHANNEL U.
MY CREW DECIDED TO SPLIT BECAUSE THEY STARTED GETTING JOBS OR FURTHER EDUCATION.WE DIDNT ANY TIME MEET UP FOR SETS SO WE ALL RETIRED.WHEN I WAS 33 I STARTED WRITING AGAIN ON AND OFF BECAUSE ONE OF MY CLOSE FRIENDS FROM SOUTH LONDON WAS ONLY 24 AND HE LIKED WRITING  FOR ENTIEREMENT HE CONVINCED ME TO GET BACK INTO IT....

I GOT SICK AND TIRED OF PEOPLE TELLING ME TO GO STUDIO IT WAS ANNOYING COZ I DIDNT WANT TO BE ARTIST..... BUT IN 23 XMAS I DID SOME KARAOKE AND FOUND OUT I COULD SING ASWELL AND PEOPLE LIKE IT 
SO I THOUGHT FUCK IT I MUST BE TALETEND
