Complex has been collecting records since childhood and was raised in a house filled with books, films and music from all styles and era, from classic broadway musicals, film soundtracks and big band swing to The Beatles, Deodato, Issac Hayes, Herb Alpert & Tijuana Brass, Bee Gees and classic Aussie Rock.  With his parents having been mobile dj's when in their twenties (Dad built the dj console and played records while mum handled mic duties) vinyl has always played a important part in Complex's life and from an early age a love for music & martial arts has continued to grow into somewhat of an obsession.
 
This was solidified in the eighties with his immersion in the (then) fledgling hip hop culture starting with breaking and making tape loops and edits (miss those tape battles!). After doing his best to emulate the flawless B-Boy funk of high school friend and mentor, legendary style master HAMS (DIE), Complex quickly came to the realisation that no visually artistic genes were ever passed down from his artist mum and that out of respect to the art of graffiti it was best to pour his energies into his first love - music.
 
He has continued to follow his passion for collecting and sharing music ever since and has been fortunate to have travelled the globe getting dusty fingers in a relentless search for music that matters - from hip hop, soul, funk, jazz and just about everything else in between.
 
Complex has had a long career in Radio that started back in the mid eighties in djing and hosting a show on the high school radio station (which was built by his Dad) playing hip hop (and real electro!) and eighties classics (Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Power Station, The Models etc).
 
From there Complex made his way to the infamous 4ZZZ Phat Tape Hip Hop Radio Show (The longest running hip hop radio show in Australia - over 20yrs)  in 1997 in a part time capacity with DJ Katch (Resin Dogs/HydroFunk,BBoy Allstars), then in 1999 took over the reins with Sean B (The Statesmen) post DjKatch’s departure. After some 7 years solid with the addition of DJ DCE (750 Rebels / Karsinogenics.com CEO) Complex took leave from the show at the close of 2004, returning in 2008 to the airwaves to host with Chubba Dubbed (Karsinogenics). 

A seasoned club Dj devoted to true hiphop and the art of Djing, Complex solidified his position in the Australian Hiphop scene among the A-Listers with his style on heavy rotation both in the club and on air.
 
Complex has worked in the industry in many capacities, from Tour DJ for seminal Breakbeat act FaTTDExx, Co-Host / DJ on Radio Metro ... to behind the scenes roles with Hydrofunk Records and most recently Karsniogenics as well as collaborating with the likes of Blunted Stylus (Jigsaw Geoff), 2Dogs / Resin Dogs, Don Nadi & Fatt Dexx in production and scratch duties.

Complex has been blessed to perform recently at the hugely successful Manila Music Festival, Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival in Puerto Galera (Philippines) along side DJ Krush  and Korea's Gongmyoung. He has also performed at major festivals in Australia including Livid, Big Day Out, Summer Field Dayze, Good Vibrations, Newtown Festival and Brisbane's Valley Fiesta alongside countless acts both national and international such as DJ JAZZY JEFF, DJ KRUSH, MIX MASTER MIKE, DJ CRAZE, SCRATCH PERVERTS, DJ RIP ONE, MNEMONIC ASCENT,BRAD STRUT,LYRICS BORN, SCRIBE, HILLTOP HOODS, KOOLISM, RESIN DOGS and many more.

Complex is also responsible for co-founding the legendary Heavy Boogie crew with DJ Kristian Hernandez producing the Breathe & Stop and Laced Up tours for adidas Originals across 6 countries in South East Asia performing alongside legendary dj’s SHORTKUT (Beat Junkies, ISP, Triple Threat), MASEO (De La Soul), ALI SHAHEED MUHAMMAD (Tribe Called Quest), APOLLO (Triple Threat, ISP), VINROC (Triple Threat, 5th Platoon) and TONY TOUCH (Rock Steady Crew).
 
Known for his extremely musical interpretation of hip hop, funk, soul and jazz and a "All Killer - No Filler" ethic to presenting music you can always expect a Complex performance leaving you with that nagging thought in the back of your mind  - "... damn, i need to know the name of that song"

Danny Rhodes

Danny Rhodes is an Australian-born electronic music producer who has soared into the limelight consid​erably since his early beginnings as a trained classical pianist.

Not only has he achieved a key role as producer for the acclaimed Shureshock (www.mc​shures​hock.c​om) Project (parts 1, 2 & 3), he was a founding member of electronic act 'Klein​zeit', keys player for 'Liquid Wax' & 'Onioncak', and has also been an essential compos​er/arr​anger for the Queensland Ballet and Expressions Dance Company with perfor​mances such as “Thread” and “Message Me” which toured nationally.

Able to craft anything from atmosp​heric, ambient soundscapes to urban hip hop arrang​ements or from cinematic break-beats to rolling drum & bass, Danny Rhodes has established himself a leading light of the Australian music production industry. He is sought after for his amazing creative ability to diversify and deliver quality music.

With local, national and global collab​oratio​ns on the way, remixes on-the-go, Danny Rhodes is a name not only to remember, but to ask for.

He now resides in New York City, USA.

Brisbane based Composer Brendan Rogers was born in 1980 and began his musical adventures at the age of 13 under the name Caliban learning with tools such as mod-edit, Scream Tracker and Impulse Tracker.
Brendan went on to play local parties and venues, also briefly releasing music under the Netherlands based internet group Blacktron Music Productions.
With a love for House genres and Breaks, he composes a wide variety of genres with unique and colorful sounds.

Perseverance is an often use word to describe a person overcoming their struggles. A battle conquered a day. In today’s music world - while all the glitz and glamour can be rewarding for some dedicated striving artists, too many don’t maintain longevity and are quickly forgotten. Yet in the middle of it all are those few who stay patient, true to themselves, and focused on their respective musical pursuits. Brooklyn’s own NYC underground artist, T.R.A.C., has climbed to new heights throughout his years of experience in both Hip Hop and Drum and Bass. A masterful wordsmith, his talents are proven in his work with legendary producers such as Marc Mac (4hero) and Lewis Parker(UK). As an MC, he’s rocked stages with names like LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, and Goldie  to name a few from the lengthy (and growing) list of A class DJs. Recognized internationally throughout his career in the Drum and Bass scene as a premiere stateside born MC with the roots of a talented Hip Hop artist.
Featured on a slew of Lewis Parker projects, T.R.A.C. released his BBE debut Hip Hop effort, “The Network”, in 2011. The album was produced by legendary 4hero artist Marc Mac, and received underground critical acclaim, along with 6 star rating from OE magazine. T.R.A.C.’s sound is described as bluesy, soulful, easy listening, yet still Hip Hop.
Already respected in the world of Drum and Bass, T.R.A.C. has recently garnered even more attention via a plethora of well-received releases with respected labels. His work with Shogun LTD. Jazzsticks (Paul SG), Intrigue Music (Ben Soundscape), and V recordings are notable within the genre. Tunes like “The Partys Arrived” (Dave Owens), and the now classic “Higher Ground”(Submorphics), have elevated the artist to a higher platform and created much anticipation for his debut DnB album with V boss Bryan Gee. After recent release of “the V singles” compilation, an energetic buzz is rising and T.R.A.C.’s time has come to shine. 2017 is shaping up to be an amazing run for this talent. BLUNTED STYLUS, A.K.A JIGZAW, and co-founder of the Resin Dogs in 1996, has a predominantly "Loops Intact" approach to funk-jazz sampling & production. A.K.A. Jafa (Geoff Blunted), he hosted one of Australia's 1st Hip-Hop shows, Jus' 2 Def on Brisbane community radio 4ZZZ with partner Brian Bizzie Petts back in ‘88.
The 1st Blunted Stylus release was in '95 feat' Dj Fib (A.K.A. Lee Hardwick), the same year JIGZAW's JOURNAL" appeared on he "HOMEBREWS 2" comp' featuring LAZY GREY & Dj DAMAGE. Jigzaw started the RESIN DOGS with KATCH & DAVE at the end of 1996,  released 2Blunted (Blunted Stylus 2) with fellow Resin Dogs input in 1997. Blunted Stylus "3" was released in 1998 with local guests Lazy Grey, Hams, Len One, Dj Complex Seany B-Sta, with the most recent album being CORNER PIECES.
