Today, it evokes the same spirit—a metaphorical horn overflowing with ideas and innovation. This ethos emerges in the latest release, the fifth offering from the new label run by Guy J.

The music is a testament to artistic richness and a celebration of sonic exploration. The release opens with Remember Me, a mellow yet groove -infused track tailormade for sunset moments by the sea. Built on hypnotic layers, it evolves into an atmospheric journey that blends joy, subtle ecstasy, and vibrant energy. Mobilee is delighted to present Avril, the radiant debut EP of Thaddeus X - an artist whose sound defies borders, shaped equally by the lush landscapes of the Dominican Republic and the legacy of European club culture.
Based in Spain and deeply immersed in Caribbean life for over a decade, Thaddeus X has developed a signature style that fuses deep house, techno, and experimental elements with hints of post-punk, psychedelia, and leftfield disco. His music tells stories beyond the dancefloor - emotional, textured, and deeply human.
The EP opens with Avril (Original Mix), a track inspired by shoegaze and IDM, born from jam sessions and long nights on underground dancefloors. Built around warm harmonies and layered synths, it offers a melodic embrace for dancers and dreamers alike. The Paradise Mix reinterprets it with analog spirit - less polished, more nostalgic, and full of character, evoking a lost era of electronic exploration.
From One takes us riverside, where nature and rhythm intertwine. Written in the tropical highlands of the Dominican Republic, it blends organic percussion with deep house grooves rooted in European club aesthetics. It's a body-moving yet mind-opening experience - reflective, lush, and vibrant.
Adding a special touch, Berlin veteran and Mobilee staple Vincenzo delivers a standout remix of From One, reworking the track with timeless elegance and atmospheric depth.
The EP was developed in a collaborative transatlantic process between Thaddeus X and producer Iván Smoka, combining hardware synths, live jamming, and detailed editing. The result is a multi-layered, emotionally rich record that celebrates both place and process - rooted in intuition, refined in craft.

The 3D DJs return with a spring in their step all ready to complete their trilogy of EPs for Selador and arguably, they may have saved the best ‘til last.

With Darren, Dave & Danny now firmly ensconced in the studio together working on a collaborative album project, this EP signals the final piece in the trio’s original concept of releases where each contributes an individual track.

Danny opens proceedings this time with ‘Shortwave’, an ever present in his sets over the last year that finally gets to see the light of day. Listeners with a keen ear may recognise this as the track the 3Ders opened their Mixmag Lab session with in LA last year. A delicious slice of uplifting Howells house.

Darren is next up with ‘Sleeping Bag’, a paean to the legendary NYC imprint that combines a sublime house groove and a seductive arpeggio with spellbinding results. Proper classy business straight outta Billericay.

And last but by no means least, Dave weighs in ‘Press 1 For Human’, a veritable banger loaded with off kilter synth sirens and a bass line so muscular that we demand a dope test. Innocent until proven guilty though and be warned, we have very expensive lawyers!

All for one and one for all, three is the magic number.
