On this first release of his newly created imprint, Southsoniks presents a very special track "Just Another Chord Song", extracted from his Live-Act and reworked with care in the studio. This atmosferic and strong techno track cut for the dancefloor is meant to absorb the crowd energy and grow on it as to transform the inherent warmth of its chords into food for the body and soul. Hosting on the same project three excellent producers, who each have delivered a very special and unique interpretation of the original track, this EP offers something for everyone. Oniris delivered a fantastic Vangelis-techno remix which is bound to touch any audience and was favored by Laurent Garnier who playlisted it on his PBB radio for months! The more you'll listen to it, the more it will grow on you! Fabrice Lig, infamous producer from the F-Com era, with countless classic hits took a little detour from his usual sound to bring an amazing ravey remix with a huge dancefloor potential. The additionnal voice he added brings more tension and energy to this brilliant interpretation. Last but not least, rising french producer MadBen took a straight dancefloor approach with great drumwork to present a very efficient remix, bound to bring people to shake it up! It's a no-brainer on any set you want to step up the intensity one notch. An overall very complete and high quality project, impregnated with Southsoniks philosophy of music for body and soul. „Odsbodkins!“ schallt es aus Oles Mund, als er Martins neue schmalzige Haarpracht erblickt. Die beiden hatten sich die letzten 5 Jahre eingeschlossen, um an ihrer neuen Platte zu arbeiten und das Ergebnis ist die Monaberry mit der Katalognummer 23. 23? Das kann nur ein gutes Zeichen sein!

Odsbdodkins macht seinem Namen alle Ehre und greift ohne zu fragen die Tanzmuskeln an. Ein grooviges Gitarrenfeuerwerk wird entfacht und erleuchtet die dunklen Tanztempel. Keine Geringeren als Hanne & Lore haben sich dieses Baby zur Brust genommen, um daraus einen Track zum gepflegten Ausrasten zu zaubern. Mit von der Käsehäppchen-Partie sind Frdy und Indimushy. Diese beiden Stücke setzen sich tief im Kleinhirn fest und verlassen dieses nicht so schnell. Frdy bestreitet eher den tooligen Weg der straighten Musikliebhaber und lässt dabei keine Wünsche offen. Um die Platte aber nicht Abdriften zu lassen, fasst sich Indimushy ein Herz und schiebt gewohnt gefühlvoll die Körper zurück auf die Tanzflächen.

If you look at the artist line up of our new release, a press info is actually pretty obsolete, but I thought I´d write a few words anyway. Oniris from the south of France is really on the rise with his latest music on Laurent's Cod3QR and upcoming music on Bedrock or Systematic and when I got in touch with him to talk about releasing on Break New Soil, he sent „Stay“ and „Wild Thing“ - I was sold instantly! When thinking of adding a remix, I contacted my good old friend Josh Wink to see if he would be up for it and I honestly couldn´t be more blown away by the result. Josh's rework is a no-nonsense Techno anthem that surprises on first listen while leaving no doubt that it's a trademark Wink production with his subtle and sophisticated beat stunts and impeccable sound profile. Additionally Josh delivered an Acid Version plus a dub mix! We think this is one of the biggest releases on our label ever and can´t wait for you to check it out.

German producer and acid head The Exaltics is back with a new EP on Shipwrec that comes with a remix by Unit Moebius Anonymous and terrific artwork by Jaco Putker. Real name Robert Witschakowski, The Exaltics is co founder of the Solar One Music label and has turned out a steady stream of EPs and LPs on labels like TRUST, Creme Organization and Clone West Coast Series until now, always coming on strong with a dense techno style. Opener 'The New Beginning' continues in that tradition where electro drums are run through with racing acid and more serene and tender synths colour in the backdrop. 'Coroded' is a much more bulky and brutal techno affair with tough drums that roll up and down, even angrier acid lines and plenty of industrial percussion. Final original 'Downwards' is even quicker and more abrasive and barely allows you to catch your breath with its hurried kick drums, ripping 303 and frankly manic, metallic hi hats. The Unit Moebius Anonymous remix is suitably tough and teeth clenching with paranoid sirens, gun like percussion and a true sense of unstoppable force. Serious techno for serious heads, this is an arresting EP that it is impossible to ignore.

Oniris - The Rebirth feat Pat Brooks [Bedrock Records]

Only five releases away from the 100th, Rodriguez Jr. delivers on the 095 with a generous 4-track, digital only edition titled "Muppet Anthem".

The self-titled number makes up the first track on the EP with a pleasant array of upbeat house-party elements and groovy vocals making this piece of work totally dance-floor worthy in the heat of the summer.

Seething down to the second track, "Ocean Drive" takes it down a notch by starting the track with exotic and tropical elements as it progresses into a high peak of faster beats and steady keyboard strikes. Its a number that will leave your feet grounded as your swaying shoulders and bobbing head lead the dance.

"Satellite" comprises the third number an emotional hymn bursting with soulful vocals and periodic tambourine jingles and jangles. Enjoy this eye closer preferably with your head back and arms reaching towards the sky.

Closing out the set is "Palo Alto", a high tempo number with various calculated beats one setting off the next. Crying vocals wrapped in multi-faceted elements will leave even your goosebumps dancing.

The French producer/DJ has a stupendous track record with mobilee and its sister label, Leena. In 2011 he released his very first album titled "Bittersweet" on the mobilee imprint. The summer of 2012 has seen weekly gigs throughout Europes favorite beach bars and waterfront clubs with Rodriguez Jr.

It’s the pre-squeeze leading up to the big release. Mobilee presents this double-track treat on both vinyl and digital. 

The A-side tears it up with „Hartwood“, Rodriguez Jr.’s biggest hit to date. With a series of alternating and repetitive keyboard strokes and soulful lyrics bouncing on a thick velvet cushion of rich background base, this number is guaranteed to appeal to the industry’s most respected players. Already landing on the hard drives of Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier and Simian Mobile Disco “Hartwood” has gained a bit of airtime as loyal listeners burn for the final release date.

The B-side features Anja Schneider with a full out female power vocal number ironically titled, “Henry & Lars”. This track takes form from a very cuddly story that took place at BPM Festival in Mexico as Anja’s little guy and a stuffed animal named “Lars” found love and friendship in a little girl and her stuffed-animal she called “Henry”. And so the story went on…

The two outstanding tracks leading up the 7th mobilee back to back compilation on April 5th is just the tip of the iceberg! Look out for another digital release „mobilee back to back part 2“ before the back to back hits online stores and shelve.
