Playing at Boom Festival always represents the peak of my wishes as a DJ, playing at Funky Beach for sunset this year is where that wish came true (even if, honestly, my supreme wish is to play in Alchemy Circle!). It was so good to be surrounded with friends and fellow Boomers, on the most beautiful beach of the festival! Had the most amazing opportunity to play an ecstatic set at the legendary Boom Festival held every 2 years, in the beautiful setting of Idanha a Nova lake near Lisbon in Portugal @ the being fields, an ecstatic dance set @boomfestival

Boom was not just a festival, it has been and is being such an important learning in my journey 🌀 spiralling only upwards 😃

The duo deeply bound with world music. Whether they play a lounge or a dance set they carefully mix world music with progressive deep house and electro flavor. During their sets they involve their instruments as well, which are mostly the didgeridoo, kalimba, zither and some synth sounds. 

The style they play is progressive ethno deep house.  During their live sets they mix armenian, turkish, balkan and hungarian folk music with deep tunes.

Their gigs are always full impro, whether they play a lounge set or a full night danceable mix. Their music highly resonates with the place and with the people present.

Moncsichill (aka Balázs Latorczai) and PowlA (aka Vera Juhász) when they are not DJing they are organizing the music program of many festivals in Hungary  and concerts as well in various clubs in Budapest. When they do not do anything - what is pretty rare - they are just friends who like to play didgeridoo, discover new music and talk about the big philosophical questions in life.
