I think the song has some potential but in this incarnation it's been lost in effects. The song becomes so dominated by reverb, delay and echo that I couldn't understand any lyrics and had trouble identifying a melodic line.

This is my tribute to my friend Mike, who didn't wear his seatbelt that fateful day and died much too young.

I beat it

I composed this song this morning on whim.....I had a few catchy lines, jotted them down, picked up my resonator guitar, and BAM!  There you are!!  So, I rushed downed stairs to my home studio, recorded it as fast as I could before I would forget how it goes.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun writing and recording it!
