∎ "RUTA („route“ / „path“ in Spanish) is our collective exploration of electronic music as the Latinx diaspora we embody, with all four members originating from Colombia and now established in different parts of Germany. Sonically, we strive to experiment by blending our roots with all-around rhythms and instruments enriched with the diversity of the Global South, while participating in contemporary music spaces."

"Our sound draws influences from different types of bass music, tribal techno, jungle and hard drum among others. We have been active since 2022 in southwest Germany, and we have our Berlin debut set on the 2nd of May 2024."

∎ @sepbtt is a co-founder of the @rutamp3 (Germany) and @neo-tropica (Colombia) collectives. SEPBTT is characterized by a percussive and tribal sound as well as the use of polyrhythmic kicks in his productions and sets. Drawing influences from genres such as hard drum, dembow, UK bass, and techno among others, his sound frequently integrates heavy percussions with sci-fi-sounding elements combined under cinematic and somewhat ritualistic atmospheres.

HEDO HYDR8 & Muskila presents their new collaborative EP, 'C', boasting three original originals and piping hot remixes from Piezo and Nídia.

Both artists hailing from the Copenhagen scene, uses the opportunity to explore unpretentious and unfltered energies throughout the EP. With ‘C’ they set out to combine Muskila’s world of playful percussion and UK Bass elements with HEDO HYDR8’s sound designed and accelerated rave-euphoria. The result is three floor focused rollers, that are sure to make their mark on the summer-circuit of 2024.

Muskila & HEDO HYDR8 - C-Slug [XXIII]

Microhm presents "Entrelazada," a five-track EP that delves deep into contemporary sound design. In this project, the Mexican artist deconstructs and rebuilds rhythms of the Latin diaspora, pushing genres like dembow, reggaeton, dancehall, and cumbia into uncharted territories. With a minimalist and futuristic approach, each track immerses the listener in meticulously synthesized soundscapes, where electronic textures and latent pulses blend to create an auditory experience that challenges club conventions, straddling the line between the classic and the avant-garde.

This EP also features 6 stunning remixes by Zutzut, Imaabs, Lyo XS, Ruiseñor, Entrañas, and Benfika + Pegaso. Every track has been carefully mastered by Imaabs, with cover art by Sofia Papadopoulos.

This edit is a mixture of Kongolose Sous BBL by Theodora, Senta no Colo by Joao Lagrima de Ouro and Pitcher by Burna not to mention my additional production.
