I am J.M. Cooler, known as Cam Kounty. The proud father of two living in Albuquerque, NM. I'm a  collector of beats and creator of sorts, I've made a few songs here and there.
 
I was a three-year choral and theatre student at Rio Rancho High School in Rio Rancho, NM. After graduation I joined the United States Coast Guard and was stationed in Seattle, WA where I discovered their active spoken word and busking scene where I made a couple extra dollars every weekend. 

In December of 2015 I was diagnosed with a hematological malignancy known as Aplastic anemia and without all the creative skills I picked up along the way, I don't think I could have found this outlet to help me through it. With the love of my family and the power of the spoken word, tomorrow is always a possibility in my book of life.
