[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the fifty-fifth release of Launch Records. This time we've got a new track by OUTSHADES and Annastacia Boudwin, called ‘Oxygen’.

The song starts with a guitar play together with atmospheric sounds in the background. Shortly thereafter you hear the bass and a drum loop is added together with the beautiful vocal of Annastacia Boudwin. After a while, a melody line is added in the background. This melody follows the vocal. In the build-up, the background chords are getting the main attention by getting more volume. Just before the drop starts they quit and a small drum loop is playing.

When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a powerful house track with trap elements in it. In this drop, the chords get the main attention. There are different chords layers after each other but each time with a small pause between them. To give more variation to the drop those pauses are in a different rhythm. On top of that, a melody is playing between the chords. To give more power to the drop, a powerful baseline is added below the chords and melody line. This drop has a blend of house and trap elements in it. Hereby all sounds which are used are self-designed.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a release together with OUTSHADES and Annastacia Boudwin who both are at the start of their career. We are proud to have a release with these really talented DJs and vocalists.
