[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the sixtieth-ninth release of Launch Records. This time we have a new track by Boeuv and Rachel Morgan Perry called ‘Choose You’.

The song starts immediately with a violin played together with piano chords in the background. After a while, the beautiful vocal of Rachel Morgan Perry starts together with some atmospheric sounds. Hereby the piano chords remain playing. After a while, a baseline is added beneath the chords and the vocal. On top of that, a melody line is added. After a while the rhythm of both the melody lines as well as the vocal changes, this is when the build-up starts.

When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a relaxing Dance Pop track with some Deep House elements in it. In this drop, you hear at first a clean and calm baseline as well as a drum loop. Hereby added are some atmospheric sounds. On top of that, a melody line is added which repeats several times. This repetition gives a really special effect to the drop. Hereby all sounds which are used are self-designed.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a release together with Boeuv and Rachel Morgan Perry.

It’s the turn of brand new artist Autodepth to show us what he’s got this week and boy has he decided to do that. We welcome the young producer onto the label all the way from Indonesia with his brand new single entitled ‘Again’. 

Autodepth is a rising star in the scene that is for certain. You only need to take a look back at his previous releases and the support he has had on them to see that. He has even climbed as high as Don Diablo’s Hexagon when Don played one of his unreleased records on his radio show. It’s incredibly clear to see why he is so successful when you listen to his music.

Again is a very impressive record, and the team absolutely adore this one. It has a very future house vibe to it which is something we really like here on the label. It also has some really chilled vibes in there, all the while keeping a really funky groove going through out and incorporating some incredibly catchy melodies and sounds.
