Recently, our new artist entity came out to the market and we want to tell you more about... what’s for. It is called Sovietwave Records, same as our label, so people will exactly know from whom it comes from. The reason it exists is that we want to remind the world about rich and authentic Russian culture that is keep being silenced and oppressed in media, everyday. As my foreign colleagues say: “no one talked about Russia anymore unless for comedic value or stereotypes”. Well, here we are, the Sovietwave Records. As you see, we can speak English, can demonstrate highly aesthetic taste in art, getting acknowledged internationally and not necessarily “promoting” anything. We are welcome and appreciate people with non-biased opinion and critical thinking from all over the world. From eastern and latin countries, who clearly shares a lot of common things with us; but also from western countries. Let the music flow and connect us. Interlink!
