Revelation of Sounds is pleased to present Vrika. His music is a mixture of hypnotic rhythms, ambient soundscapes and organic textures, with a tribal output. Starting from techno and move to freely different subgenres. He has released music on Doppt Zykler and other underground labels. Recently founded the project RVD alongside Discknoked and Randoom, focused on slow techno and live improvisations.

For the 25th installment of Eintopf podcast, I have invited another remarkable member of a vibrant Leipzing scene. @kontinum has put together a dark and atmospheric drum'n'bass set which I hope you'll enjoy!

Initially inspired by the subcultural scene of his hometown of Lübeck, the young artist was strongly influenced by the predominant sound of the Leipzig techno scene. Especially the infamous Institut fuer Zukunft and its hypnotic and dissociative sound significantly formed his distinctive style and quickly paved his way into the local scene. Over the years his sonic palette grew and now reaches from soothing ambient and downtempo to dark and dissociative contemporary techno.

In 2017 Kontinum co-founded the collective Nebula and, after organising their first raves, the collective quickly found its way into Leipzig's club scene and managed to establish its own event series at Institut fuer Zukunft.

In addition to managing most of Nebula's musical affairs, Kontinum
continues to steadily enhance his own remarkable sound which can already be listened to on his releases on labels such as The Gods Planet, Lowless and Agos.

Distab, a vinyl-only dj, has a constantly evolving collection, marked by artistic discoveries and encounters.

Originally based in the Seattle area and now living in Berlin, he has been sharing his salient sound through productions and performances for years. His penchant for both ambient music and dance-floor oriented styles has landed him at some of the best venues across Europe. His recent record, "2929" on Mountain Explosion Device saw him working with artists such as Kalawila and Dorisburg and gained international acclaim. As a DJ he is a true music connoisseur, consistently surprising audiences by weaving seamlessly throughout different genres.

Since then, we’ve been eagerly following him and have time and time again, thanks to his creative outputs, found ourselves immersed in worlds flitting between darkness and light; his music enriched with the depth, energy and quality we find ourselves drawn to - music to move the body, inspire the mind and invigorate the soul.

His most recent release, Unraveling featuring on Semantica’s Fear and Anxieties compilation (part 2/3) has had us practically drooling - another perfect portrayal of the Undveld we’ve come to love.
