The work of Hong-Kong-born, Bristol-based gyrofield eludes single descriptors. A self-taught writer and musician, their work is born from an interweaving relationship with electronic music. There is a beating heart at the core of every gyrofield piece, but adorned and disheveled with layers of interpreted life and absorbed culture. Her upcoming releases set to reveal a new chapter, one where life further blurs with the process of creation, one where music is equal parts escapism and self-realization.
