This month's free download is a Flowdan bootleg I had as a project from a long while back. Due to the lockdown I've had lots of time to go over older projects and I came across this track and knew I wanted to finish it off. Having already heard some unreal Flowdan bootlegs from the likes of AC13, Kohezion, GLM to name a few, I wanted to put my own twist on one of his tunes. Hope you enjoy this one!

Recently reaching the last 8 of the Kiwi Kup with his impeccable remix of Prescribe Da Vibe's 'Cool Today', the future is looking increasingly bright for the young talent. As evidenced by the copious amounts of immensely talented new producers and stellar sonic creations, UKG's revival is in full swing, allowing the likes of Prozak to go to town on the production. We've linked up with him to present 'Let U Kno', a 4x4 UKG summer shella plucked from the dizzy heights of the top drawer, fully doing justice to Aaliyah's stunning original. It's all blue skies & warm breeze; showcasing Prozak's position as an evocative & imaginative beatsmith, as well as a stonecold don in the production hotseat. Prozak - Let U Kno (Aaliyah Edit) [Free Download]

We are proud to introduce the 'Griselda EP', curated by Hickupz and featuring Rezin. Hickupz (aka Jack Hickman) is producer/DJ from Birmingham, and has already made his mark in the Drum & Bass scene. He specialises in the deeper, darker and the more minimal side to the spectrum, with releases already on imprints such as Planet Misteron, Subplate Recordings, Actin Out and Madworld, as well as, previous releases on both Twisted Sounds LP's. 

The 'Griselda EP' takes you into a world of haunting synths, harmonious atmospherics and deep basslines. Firstly, 'Labyrinth' starts the EP of with intensifying pads and basslines. Followed by 'Sintilation', which brings steppy drums and techy basses together, to create a rig-thumping track. 'Drako' is a collaboration between Hickupz and Rezin. This track brings the darkest of synths, combined with minimalistic drums to form a haunting, yet mesmerising track. Finally, we finish the EP of with the title track 'Griselda'. 'Griselda' is formed of haunting pads, thumping kicks, slapping snares and synths to make you melt.

Rising Birmingham-based producer Hickupz returns to TS Audio with his new 'Griselda' EP, off the back of a quality run of well-received official and free releases. He's been flexing his production musculature on collaborations with DIS:TURBED, Exsitu, Headroom and more, whilst also trying his hand at a selection of finely-tuned Hip-Hop beats. However, this four-tracker sees him back on a solo tip, bringing through what we think is the best of his production thus far. This track, 'Labyrinth', is our pick of the bunch, taking things deep and gloomy but still flowing, fruitful and above all, frenetic. DIS:TURBED's newly-founded Identity Records imprint kicks off with a huge bang, bringing through 4 of the Drum & Bass scene's most exciting talents for a dark, subterranean debut EP. Here, we see a selection of upcoming powerhouses go to town on the much-loved minimal sound, namely Recon, Half Cab, Medusa and Hickupz, the latter of which we recently dropped a collaborative Premiere / Free Download with, check that via our 'Free Downloads' playlist. Back to this EP, and we're treated to a masterclass in devilish sonics from Recon, who's kicked up a storm on 'Dark Places'. Fabulously textured and warped, this is plucked straight out of the top-drawer from a producer who's sure to go on to do big things in the scene. Clicky, snappy percs meet sharp, robotic atmospherics in a hybrid of sounds that works perfectly - what an opener.

DIS:TURBED's high-flying Identity Records imprint continues to go from strength to strength with their latest release, which again exceeds all high expectations for the ascending grassroots platform. Proving his strong penchant for solid A&R, the label boss has locked in Identity stalwart Recon, a fresh collaboration from newcomers Jenks & Esoro, some real submerged darkness from Melodrama and a voyage into the night from Resslek - we've had the pleasure of premiering the latter. As per, the  EP will be available for free very soon via the Identity Soundcloud, which has surged in popularity since its inception just a short time ago. Resslek's 'Krikle' is perhaps his finest work yet, writhing, chomping and thumping its way through its low slung, no-nonsense 4-minute duration.
