Dunk is a name on the lips of pretty much everyone right now, and he’s up
next to grace CIA with four tight and tasty cuts.
Having already built a name for himself on a host of top labels as one half of Jam Thieves, Neto Garcia has been at full tilt since taking the chance to work on his own solo project. The ‘Lost Tribe EP’ for CIA sees the Brazilian delivering another four well-rounded yet minimal and weighty tracks, trademarks evident in all his music, making it obvious why he’s being picked up by a host of labels.
With a mass of modern day production techniques firmly wedged under his belt, Dunk drops four dancefloor scorchers here, engaging a range of influences including dub and world music to bring together a truly contemporary piece, with enough punch and sonic weightiness to take the roof off.
The ‘Lost Tribe EP’ shows once again that Total Science are not afraid to reach outside of the tried and tested formula and do just what they feel – and after enjoying having these in their box for the last few months, you now can too.
