As the grassroots, independent sector of our Drum & Bass scene continues to flourish and develop, we’re treated to a consistent stream of new, exciting talent who are constantly bringing new ideas and sounds to our eagerly-awaiting eardrums. These are essential factors in any successful, culturally-impacting musical genre, whether electronic or more instrumentation-based; this is where that all-important passion is built from the ground up, and where the foundations for success and longevity are formed and cemented for the long-term.

One platform who’ve really been making waves recently is Midlands-based imprint Drippyboiii, who’ve been supplying some really spectacular sonic content as of late, locking down an eclectic mixture of ‘sauce, steez & sub-bass’. Their lauded weekly mix series, ‘The Drip’ has seen the likes of IndiAlman, Scudd, Poach and Obscura through the Drippy door, whilst Turtleneck & Madrush MC, Error, Axis, Sematic and more have supplied popular free download drops for the masses. Now, they’re taking the next, logical step onto official, paid releases, upping the levels yet again. You heard it here first - the Drippyboiii level-up starts now.

Presenting the second volume of their ‘The Art Of Blending’ series, the crew embark onto pastures new with a 3 track selection that features some of the brightest sparks about at the moment, namely Caramel & Madrush MC, Neman and POSK. All three tracks absolutely slap, hitting hard in the stacks, and we’ve had the pleasure of bringing you an exclusive OTW Premiere of the latter’s supreme effort - ‘Fresh Out’. The heavily-supported, Birmingham-hailing POSK has really been cleaning up since he was brought to our attention, arriving with a fully-stocked, brandished arsenal of evil, poisonous sound design and a crisp, sub-low production aesthetic. We’ve witnessed him link up with the likes of Disrupta, Mr Traumatik and Nautika, and recently heard him on remix duties for Hexa’s, tastefully reworking his Audio Addict-lick ‘Barge’. Now, he’s back with a bang for his Drippyboiii debut - you can check that out here.
