While the original takes things down a sublime funky bass route, Fork & Knife puts his carefully crafted skillset to great use on the remix, bringing forth everything we've come to love from the London-based producer. A strong 140 lick, this remix is a dream for MCs; a smashing, interrogating kick drum really sets the stage, pairing with cascading snare hits and grimey synths to provide a real driving force for the track.

Hailing directly from Bristol, Jakobin, a 27-year-old artist, has garnered significant attention in the underground music scene with his diverse sets encompassing UK Funky and Bass genres. Originally from Madagascar, Jakobin's musical selections and original compositions remain deeply rooted in his cultural heritage, drawing inspiration from the rhythmic percussion and tribal music of his homeland. Despite maintaining a consistent vibe, Jakobin refuses to confine himself to a single style, incorporating a broad range of underground music spanning from 120 to 140 bpm, encompassing genres such as UK Funky, Garage, Amapiano, House, Grime, and more.

His dynamic and energetic performances have secured him opportunities to support renowned figures in the UK Bass music scene, including Footsie, Stragety, Sicaria, JME, RizLaTeef, SirSpyro, Killa P, Skepsis, Royal T, and Sammy Virji, among others.
