Ма̄нь Пупыг Нёр is inspired by the Manpupuner rock formations, a set of 7 stone pillars located in the Ural Mountains. The name comes form the Mansi language, meaning "Small Idol Rock".

I wrote this in 2014, soon after returning home from the Ambient Music Conference in Finland. It's nothing like ambient, but I was glad of the inspiration. I remixed and mastered this in 2021. The remix work constituted some EQ, panning and levelling changes

In 2013 I made this track with aoVI for the first Ambient Online compilation album.  We used samples from the Apollo 11 landing on the moon. That was a big historical event in that time. I made a new mix, but now with another historical space event: the launch of James Webb Telescope.
