Somehow the structure of this song reminds me of an old hit by Robert Miles named Music was my First Love. It's got this theatrical vibe. I like it. The first part dragged a little though as if you needed some time to find your pace.

excellent sounds and mixing. I like your dramatic approach as always. this one doesn't grip me as some of your others. don't know why.

This moment is really cool, I ove the melody !

I enjoyed the textures of these three sections, especially the third one.

I wonder of that flutish lead you're using throughout has anything to do with the lack of enthusiasm this track seems to be encountering. It sounds a bit contrary to me. Somewhat off key too. Which makes it stand apart from everything else. Everything else sounding rather gloriously wide and warm. Esp. here where the orchestra drops in, at he start of the final section, That's magical. Easily among the most marvelous moments I've heard in any of your tracks.  And those cymbals are just superb !

I got the John Miles reference too, as that goes through similar changes. Although the opening section does drag a bit, the 5 beat section is great and the final section is dreamy.

I modified Jasinski's cymbal and a couple of Bowman's snares. I used a bit of Bowman's box guitar and TNS' (TheNeverScene) guitar. I used a lot of a delay tuned guitar. IV! showed me how to tune it with one patch. But because it has a glide I had to make it one note per instance and then use JS note filter. That's extreme patch borrowing for me. Finally NeverBeenInARiot mentioned the Reaverb "trick" that is used on the cymbal. So a big thanks to those OSCers.

OSC190 Hard Route (Vital) 27th

This was produced for the One Synth Challenge 190 using only the synthesizer Vital to make all of the sounds in this track. 

25 instances of Vital were used in Ableton 10 to make this, I used mostly effects built in to Vital and some Ableton effects as well.

Ableton effects used: Utility x 8; Limiter x 4; Convolution Reverb x 3; Echo x 2; EQ8 x 6.

Third party plugins: Loudmax free and Youlean Loudness Meter 2 Free.

To answer a question asked: yes, I do cool with sound, and I do it pretty much every day, a little ab here and a little dab there.  I love good synths, and there are a lot of them nowadays, software as well as hardware. I go for both...but I still  love the immediacy of hardware, especially analog..oranic colours I'd say. I know thaere are also quite a few others, here, on Soundcloud,and elsewhere, that share the same fascination, and have colouring books of thier own.

Also, I would have to say that I don't give a hoot as to what is or is not trending. Neither do I care how loud it is. I love dynamic variation. Best way to call it is light sometimes, dark other times...whatever it takes to tell the sonic story.

For this one...my brutes are Atrtuira's Minifrak, Modla Electronics Argon 8M, Behringer Toro (Moog Taurs recreation), and Electric piano coming from Yamaha MOXF6, all recorded to Tascam Model 24 and ported over to my computer running Persons Studio One for the final mixing and mastering.
