A silky smooth intro, peaceful seconds, before the restless dream starts. Wide open and mysterious deep that is “Soñar“ the title track of Microtrauma’s first longplayer. Like a trip through the universe - “Vona 1.2“ creates different pictures rushing by. Get on the dancefloor with “Filamenta“ and breath deeply while listening to “5254“. The whole longplayer is like an emotional carrousel. From silky smooth beats to bass-loated tracks and foreign noises. “I Am Bient“ comes so dark and cold - you are paralysed, just to get back moving and dreaming the next moment. Rising Bulgarian talent Imperieux returns to ATLANT after his ATL008 debut with a fresh batch of music. This second release demonstrates a maturity and evolution in his sound, so we just had to bring this music to you at the earliest opportunity.

Lead track ‘Culture Mess’ is a dark dense twilight trip with a twisted arp theme pitted against thrashing, crashing percussive elements and venemous rasping snares.

By sharp contrast ‘Gen’ focuses on tribal elements and evokes far off mystic lands with vibrant flowing organic sounds and mystic nomadic textures.
The intense ‘Aritmetika’ takes this EP back to the dancefooor and is perfect for that moment when everyone is lost in their own thoughts, oblivious to external factors ... because only the music matters.

Closing out our 12th release is ‘Talking To Myself’. This has more of a straight forward 4/4 jam, but don’t be lulled into a false sense of security. The eerie trippy synth lines and snipped echoed vocal edits with get deep into your mind. Four tracks that warrant repeated plays, Impérieux has really delivered something special.

These tracks have been getting a lot of attention after ATLANT label leader BOg gave audiences a sneak preview at recent gigs in Beirut, Paris and Cologne. The likes of Trikk has also been playing this music out live to fantastic reception.

Mulya and Sobek author our next Chapter, reprising a creative relationship which has already borne significant fruit. Their work has seen them find a home together with labels including Monaberry and TAU, while they have been picked up individually by imprints including Bedrock and Get Physical.

Here they offer three big hitters. Title track Mirrored Screen opens things in style, its chunky afro techno groove offset by an enigmatic synth line and a choppy single note pattern that is laden with tension. Tribal vocals add to the mix before the main hook opens out and satisfyingly hits home.

Shaking Hands is the follow up, built around a distorted, pitching percussive groove for a determinedly heads down, wild affair that is bound to move the dancefloor.

Rounding things off, Hard Curve is just as heavyweight. Equally moody and foreboding as it is hypnotic and driving, it comes paired with an Edition by breakout artist Rinzen (mau5trap). Rinzen's rework is progressive and euphoric, communicating and deploying a sense of scale that is reminiscent of classic Sasha or Stephan Bodzin.

Rinzen's Edition makes for a fitting closer to a very strongly rounded EP from Mulya & Sobek.
