In my most stormy of seasons, I find my stability and strength in God. He has been my refuge and even when I have to go through it, He holds me in it. That's where this song came from. Even the times when I'm begging for help and forget I'm not alone, when I get still, there He is. And He's always been.

"You're The Light" came out of an honest reflection and moment of gratitude that was incredible. The lyrics came TOO easy, the melody came like it already existed! Even the BGVS felt like I was chasing them to get them recorded! I thanked the Lord as I wrote because I felt like I was being guided the whole way. I find it kinda funny that God guided my voice and pen to give Him thanks, lol!
