Off the back of his debut Space Invaders EP last year, we're excited to welcome Onyx Recordings regular Hoax back to the label with his next EP, Crowd Control.

Featuring four tracks of pure energy ready to tear up any dancefloor, including a wobbly roller in "Nebula" and a touch of future bass in "Promise Me", we guarantee you'll be able to find a DJ weapon of choice within this EP.

Since first releasing with Onyx, Hoax has become a label favorite with our listeners, and we're stoked to be putting him b2b with fellow Onyx mainstay Invert Era at our Lightbox London event on September 24th. Come down and witness Hoax's crowd control skills in action!

Kartoons, the iconic drum and bass label since 97’ Blackmarket Records/BM SOHO, is back under the guidance of legendary DJ Nicky Blackmarket. With a resounding BANG, Kartoons unveils "Pull It Back" by Bully & Millz Feat. Ragga Twins.


"Pull It Back" delivers a sonic explosion of drum and bass, featuring a wobbly baseline, jump-up drums, and infectious beats that promise an exhilarating journey for listeners.


Kartoons proudly introduces Bully, a rising star producer from Kent, with an impressive portfolio of releases under his belt, bringing a unique flair to “Pull It Back”, adding depth and dimension. Joining forces with Bully is Millz, daughter of Nicky Blackmarket, who's making waves as both DJ and producer after her third-place win in the BBC Radio One Drum and Bass Awards as Best Breakthrough DJ; and Ragga Twins, legendary foundation MCs, adding an extra layer of dynamism to the track.

Experimental indietronica with nonlinear rhythms, enigmatic lyrics, and delicate vocals.
A project by a young sound artist named Anya. Krucha is a cliff that symbolizes the inner state of the hero. Anya makes electronic music using experimental elements, broken rhythms, unexpected percussion, and transitions that jump around like moods. Stumbling through metaphors in her lyrics as if on crutches, she tries to find common ground with her listeners, exploring her identity and musical isolation. The music, which resembles a new cyberpunk genre in which you seem to be flying over the city in a flying machine, is calming and relaxing despite the chaos of the arrangement, helping the listener find an island of salvation even in the most troubled times.

About the album “borovok” in artist's words:

"My friend's name was Vova. He was my rock, my role model, he supported me and didn't let me give up on music. He believed in this album more than I did, he was there when I was writing it. I can't imagine my project without Vova and his presence in each of the tracks. Now my friend is gone, and I have finally decided to release my first album, which I dedicate to him. Thank you, Vladimir Borovok, you will always be a part of me and my music."

Whiney’s underground drum & bass flare has flourished since signing exclusively to Med School. Now he’s set and ready to present his incredible debut album ‘Talisman’ - a symbol of his dedication to D+B with a strong 12-track collection of dancefloor weapons.

The hard-hitting album opener ‘Talisman’ sets the pace with epic musicality, industrial bleeps and fat, meaty basslines. Matching up with the heavyweight business are ‘Archive’ and ‘Rock Hopper’. Plus ‘Minds Collide’ can’t be missed – a middle-eastern influenced half-time stepper that matches up with the exuding attitude of ‘Portal’ that's already received support from neuro giants Noisia.

Whiney’s joined forces with Hospital’s Brazilian mastermind on ‘Sun Kissed’, balancing choppy vocal snippets with Urbandawn’s signature percussions and growling subs. Turning to melancholic movements is ‘The Farthest Shore’ and ‘Never Too Long’ the latter a collaboration with long-term label mate Keeno and lead by a strong vocal topline from Whiney himself. A final collaborative effort comes from Med School’s resident MC Inja who’s brought his lyrical genius to Whiney’s deep roller ‘Flashlight’.

After we invited Harry Haribo down to host our set and meeting him in Bristol last year, it was only natural that we get in the studio together to write some music.

'Underground Sounds' is a gritty bass driven track that really makes a statement! It showcases exactly where we're both at as individual artists and it was a pleasure to finally get something down.
