GIBBO, a rising star local to Liverpool in UK, he has been immersed in the world of dance music since the 90s. After cutting his teeth on the dancefloor, this DJ and producer made the leap to the booth in 2019, honing his skills in DJing, in 2024 he started his path into music production.
With a passion for House, Underground, and Minimal deep Tech, GIBBO has carved out an impressive resume, holding two coveted residencies in Liverpool. In 2024, he took his talents to the global stage, delivering captivating sets at  Ibiza venues like Jet Apartments, Casanova Summon, and Space Eat and Dance.

This track started from a piano riff not by design, so it’s interesting as an alternative creative process.

Vocals remains a challenge, but I realized the best approach is to record several times and extract the best part of each recording.

Here is an edit of a remix I did of Nick Warren and Tripswitch's track "Voight Kampff" for a music video I made. I put my heart and soul into this remix, just like I do with any release. After I finished the first remix I kept humming vocals over it so I had to make another version. This is an edited down mix to fit a music video I made with my friend Dan Pak in Malibu.

The head and label maker of Amber Blue Recordings is back on his own imprint with an absolutely sensational release. "Nanobot" has been maturing on the hard disk a bit longer and now sees the light of day in the first part. It is one of the last productions that was created in collaboration with Felix and that is why the original is called "Looking Back Original Mix" to reflect this section in the lifetime of the project Heinrich & Heine. A look back after the breakup, but at the same time the focus on what will happen in the future. This release is the first part and is clearly dedicated to the melodic and groovy facets of electronic music. Part 2 will be more technoid and will appear on the parent label Amber Recordings later in the year.

"Nanobot" will now be released according to the motto "Forward Ever - Backward Never" and comes with a crazy remix package. Describing each remix here individually would take hours, but so much to say: all the remixes have become really great productions. Each considered individually stands out by its quality. No matter if Daniel Jaeger, Jaap Lightart, Andrew Becks, Chris Ojeda or Tash. everyone has done a great job and given the original their very own touch.

There is absolutely something for everyone and makes this release not only for Amber Blue, but also for the Labelhead a very special one. An absolute must and the early support of Bignames of the scene speaks a clear language.

Over 25.5 million hectares of land were burnt (110,000+ square kilometres), 3000+ homes destroyed, 30 people and more than 1 billion mammals, birds and reptiles died.

100% of the proceeds from each sale of Bushfire Aid VA Series Part 1 and Part 2 will officially go directly to the Australian Wildlife Conservency’s Bushfire Response Campaign, as they work tirelessly in the field to protect numerous species of animals that are now endangered and threatened due to the bushfire season disaster of 2019/20.

Upon donating, aside from the music you will also receive a pdf file from AWC themselves with specifics on the Bushfire Response Campaign that you will be supporting with your donation.

On the heels of a series of well-received releases, Seattle's beloved house music collective and label Uniting Souls Music returns for its 42nd outing with Jordan Strong & Lil’T’s “Unite” featuring James Weston, a 5-track EP embodying the ethos of the group with a diversity of styles ranging from deep to tech and featuring remixes by Onionz, SAAND, Jeromy Nail, and Rare Static.

LA-based DJ and producer SAAND (aka Michael Sandler) keeps the vibe of the original, reworking the bassline into a subtle melodic groove that touches on psychedelic. Having made a name for himself across a variety of genres, SAAND stays true to his self-described ‘melancholic audio’ pseudonym on this one. A slow-burner for the heads.

Premiere: Death On The Balcony - Incensa  [Kindisch]

'Operating out of the global fashion capital, Davide Ferrario is a stylish new name within the world of underground dance music. With releases on Manjumasi, My Other Side of the Moon and Kitchen Recordings, the Milan based artist returns to Particles after remixing Rudy in February 2020. Now debuting with his twin-track "End of an Era" EP, the title track is an organic house gem that bristles with vibrant, low-slung groove and gently panned arpeggio backdrop. Before long, a beautiful and emotive piano section enters the fray, juxtaposed against heavy metronomic beat. Counterpoint melodies entwine effortlessly adding to the emotion and aural texture in an impressive opening. "Tempo" provides a slightly more powerful melodic techno vibe as driving beat and gated chords sit against each other in perfect unison. A shimmering arpeggio and glass lead motif add further intrigue as a free-flowing phrase swims from left to right with ease. The result is a track that showcases Ferrario's skill as a composer, producer and musician.

Estonian artist, Oleg Ivanov, "has an ear for the cinematic" through his about : river pseudonym. Concentrating on building a narrative through his music with stratified layers of sound and a wide and varied sonic palette, his music for Easy Summer, Astrolabe Recordings and Nie Wieder Schlafen has been a powerful indicator of his talent, not least through his six-track EP for the latter in June 2020. Making his Particles debut, the about : river remix of "End of an Era" revels in reversed playback of the original's powerful melodic sequences, while adding a sumptuous array of further production material. A new motif pierces its way through the mid-upper frequency range, complemented by an organic rhythmic framework that rattles along in stereo-panned groove and subtle ambient effects. The resulting reworking of Davide Ferrario is an impressive debut.
