As summer's fading, this is something different. It was such a pleasure delving into my playlists from the sublime Tunes in the Dunes sessions, hosted by the Glorious Oyster in Instow. 

It's as much for listening to as having a li'l shimmy. It certainly ticked all the boxes as the sun set over the sea on numerous occasions this summer.

Quel Bonheur d'avoir joué ce set sur le chill du Hadra festival 2022 pour fêter leur 20 ans d'Histoire! Un set sur lequel la merveilleuse compagnie des Bodylight est revenue des années 2888 afin de nous offrir leur lumières... Ils entament alors un cérémonial déambulatoire de rituels animistes, de guérison, de danses et manipulations d’objets sacrés.
Une extase au milieu de la foule pour créer une rêverie de l’éveil et plonger à l’unisson dans une transe collective où nos Djinns, génies si familiers, murmurent à nos oreilles « JANNA AL-LAYL (la nuit tombait)
Et c'est donc tout naturellement que j'ai joué ce Set pour la Cosmik Garden organisée par les BodyLight <3

MEO CULPA and ZAKHOROV are on their way to DAAD Gathering 2025, and are teaming up to shut down the vibiest corner of Dádpuszta — the legendary Cooking Groove — to guide one of the final ritual before the curtains drop. This recording was made not long before OCEANVS ORIENTALIS' set, spiced up with live flute and jewsharp playing on the Kassa boat.

Zen Baboon are Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã. Both were born in the '70s in Portugal and since an early age kept a close connection with the musical world, focusing on great sound quality and original construction.

Daniel is a sound engineer that worked in a studio in Lisbon and started producing electronic music in the late 90′s.  Henrique, a zoologist, lives and works in his own farm and started as an ambient DJ, (DJ Henriq) and producer in 2001.

They got together in 2003 and decided to melt their musical preferences and create Zen Baboon.

OOOD (Out Of Our Depth) is a pioneering UK-based psychedelic trance band that has been at the forefront of the psytrance scene since the early 1990s. Originally formed in 1994 by Colin Bennun, Steve Callaghan, and Nigel Bradbury, the group has evolved over the years while staying true to their roots in psychedelic music.

OOOD’s music is renowned for its intricate soundscapes, rich melodies, and the seamless fusion of organic and electronic elements. With a discography that includes six acclaimed albums and numerous singles and EPs on respected labels like Iboga Records, Flying Rhino Records, and Phantasm Records, they have consistently pushed the boundaries of psytrance.

Known for their dynamic live performances, OOOD often incorporates live instruments and improvisation, creating immersive and transformative experiences for audiences. They have performed at major psytrance festivals around the world, including Boom Festival and Ozora, earning a reputation as one of the genre's most innovative and enduring acts.

In 2021 their 6th album "Deep Flight" (Iboga Records) was met with critical acclaim, and their 7th album "Source Confirmed" (2024, Phantasm Records) looks to build on this success. OOOD continues to inspire and captivate the global psytrance community with their creative energy and commitment to the psychedelic ethos.
