For our last mix of the year, we warmly welcome a very talented synthesist, DJ, and co-founder of Frequency Domain, Ali Wade.

Some words by Ali:

"The Observatory has had a really great first year, hosting many go-to mixes for me, so I feel humbled to round off the series in 2023. Thanks to Jay for the invite and to all the previous contributors for setting the bar so high.

As the world grows exponentially more complex and unjust, music is ever the stabilising force. In November this year I was invited by the Bleep43 crew to DJ alongside some incredible artists at an event in east London - this mix pulls together a lot of the music I played that day, including many tracks from the label I co-run, Frequency Domain. Recorded one afternoon while in bed with a cold, I hope it puts you in a good place."
