The REC series compiles outstanding performances recorded in the club throughout the year, highlighting artists representing our love for electronic music.

The more we listen to Nosedrip’s last Room 01 adventure, the more we fall in love with it. Part of his all-nighter at Fuse and with a constant air of reflective and introspective touches, the Belgian leftfield treasure is doing justice to his reputation of never being predictable.

From vocals to etheric percussions, set-backed oddballs, or acid and Arabic sound textures, the Stroom.tv founder is drawing a resourceful example of his musical DNA. A spiritual ascension, guided by Ziggy Devriendt’s intuitions for two hours long.

Nosedrip — Recorded live at Fuse Brussels (19/01/24)

ßetamax presents LNS & DJ Sotofett and their ❝スパッターズ日本ツアー / Sputters Japan Tour 2024❞. The two Tresor resident DJ's will be playing Detroit-Techno, Electro and Real House Music on five gigs in Sapporo, Osaka and Tokyo between November 11th and December 7th 2024. The tour is accompanied by a special edition Japan Tour 12" featuring DJ Gizzard + LNS + DJ Sotofett. The 12" released on WANIA will be available on all venues throughout the tour for Yen 1500.

LNS from Calgary/Canada releases music on Tresor Records, WANIA, Counter 99 and has an upcoming double 12" project ready for UK's Emotional Response. With a classic touch of Electro, Detroit + UK Techno and Braindance she also runs the club concept ❝LNS-id❞ which will also be featured at Tengu Shokudo in Tokyo, December 6th.

DJ Sotofett from Moss/Norway runs labels Sex Tags Mania + Amfibia, and WANIA where he just released the album ❝WANIA mk1❞. His Electro/House/Techno productions are released on Tresor Records, and the Afro-Dub on Honest Jon's Records. He's just about to release the album ❝DJ Sotofett & The Colours of Computer Generated Instruments❞ on Clone West Coast Series, and also runs the Dub Club series "Resonance of Dub" which will also be presented at Forestlimit in Tokyo, November 22nd.

It was my first Draaimolen and no one knew it which was great. 
It was also my first encounter with Addit Audio and their sound system installed for the first time in its full glory. I can't recall being brought to tears during one soundcheck.
So there were no news, no algorithms, no expectations to be disappointed. The pit was not announced. It felt like a curious manifestation of something paranormal.
Wonderful sound system, records and sweetest weather.  
Those who found us in the small pit in the middle of the forest most likely didn't know what was going on. 
For the most part of the first 5 hours I figured out that it would be great to play for and with the sound guy, playing right and wrong records and figuring out which one sound good. Research and development mission for Addit Audio.
After 5 hours ISAbella joined for a brief back to back session. Everything can happen in the realm of paranormal. Luckily she stayed and we played together for the next 3 hours until the last song, the one for the deceased. Probably as close as it gets to transcendence.

"As the DJ’s I looked up to when I started buying records were mostly the ones that transcended genre boundaries by embracing music with different sounds but similar feelings, I also like to shift between genres when playing in front of a crowd. When I do the odd recording at home, I usually try to do the exact opposite, by restricting to a certain subgenre or artist. This DJ set however is an exception, since it has a mix of different styles and it represents my club sets quite well. Initially I had the plan to do a hiphouse set, but when I was browsing through my records, I stumbled across DJ Bone - Shut The Lites Off and Joe Lewis - Life Immoreal, two of my all-time favorite records and I really wanted to put those in the mix as well. Next to that, I had been working on a new track, almost fully made with the new Belgian synth MODOR NF-1 (Note: every producer should get one ;-)) and I wanted to test how it would fit in a mix. So I took it from there, using two turntables and a cd-player and this is what I came up with. Hope you like it!" - Kiani & his Legion

Clone West Coast Series just released the album "DJ Sotofett & The Colours Of Computer Generated Instruments" - 15 cuts widening the spectrum of electro, with 80's Nintendo console vibes and holy grail analog vs digital synthesis. The album is filled with surprises, seamlessly transitioning from acid infected vibes and catchy electronic pop to avant-garde electro cuts. But this is "The Mixtape", a 45 min energetic and deep dive into essential Electro and Detroit Techno. DJ Sotofett & The Colours Of Computer Generated Instruments - The Mixtape

A clinic in minimal from the elusive Acting Press boss. 

Why do certain sounds cultivate a cult following? Simply put, it's often because they resist easy consumption. PLO Man and his imprint Acting Press lean into this. 

Searching for the Berlin-based DJ and producer, you won’t find much online presence, interviews or conventional PR. What you will find, if you look hard enough, is a catalogue of records and mixes with a kind of tape hiss charm (a spiritual successor to Basic Channel and Chain Reaction, but scuzzier and lighter on its feet).

Founded in 2015, Acting Press once seemed to belong to the short-lived "outsider house" trend, but is now synonymous with a certain strain of modern minimal, one that is analogue, spacious and pointedly opaque. PLO Man's output is equally sparse by design: this week, he joins the RA Podcast with a characteristically elusive style, accompanying the near two-hour mix is a one-answer Q&A that gives almost nothing away.

Stripped-back, ever-so-slightly sleazy and coated in dust, PLO Man's RA Podcast continues that lineage in style. Opening with the featherlight microhouse of Margaret Dygas, RA.988 unfolds into a carefully curated spectrum of minimal, dub and deep techno. Among familiar names—look out for the blinding Rhythm & Sound and Moodymann blend—are deep cuts and left turns alongside the odd outlier, like lovers' rock pioneer Gregory Isaacs.

Like the best of his forebears, PLO Man wants RA.988 to take time for you to settle in. But once you do, you won’t want to leave.
