Night is Electric (NiE) is a 2-piece band birthed out of the heart of the Midwest (Fort Wayne, IN and Chicago, IL) -- Frontman & Vocals Chad Van Meter and Bass Guitarist Jon Hill.  Night is Electric brings heart-felt rock into the expansive world of musical experimentation, diving straight into the depths of human experience while keeping its emotional head above the water.  Life runs deep with these songs, partly comforting partly kicking us out of our nests.

The band began in 2014 with a humble demo recorded in the basement of Chad's home in Fort Wayne, IN.  Since then, the duo has been writing dozens of new songs and have recorded with:
 - Ivor Novello Award-Winning Producer Cassell the Beatmaker in London, UK
 - US-based producers in NYC (Scott Troyer), Nashville (Darren Rayl and Daniel Hoisington), and Chicago (Mark Yoshizumi)
 - Masterers Cody Norris and Shawn Hatfield
 - Mixing engineer Lynn Graber

NiE also worked with famed music industry mogul Stephen Machat in Miami during the initial launch of "Outside My Head..." for their first live performance of the EP at a December 2017 Art Basel Miami event.

Night is Electric’s 2017 debut single, "City Without Walls", was included on the first half of the much-anticipated 2018 debut EP "Outside My Head...".  

SO MUCH MORE NEW MUSIC is coming.  Night is Electric is a never-ending well of songwriting.  Watch these guys...they're on a roll.  The second half of Night is Electric’s debut EP project “…Inside My Heart” has a street date in 2022.

The artist Karizmatik was born and raised on the westside of Chicago. He noticed his gift to rap and passion for hip hop at the age of 15. He's been rapping for a while and has opened up for former G.O.O.D. Music artist GLC, 1st and 15th artist Gemini, and Mikkey Halsted, former DTP artist Shawnna, and Ovo's artist King Louie. He was featured on two compilations both hosted by the artist 8Ball and the Source Magazine affiliate Bay D. He was also featured in the Coast2Coast Magazine.  His mixtape "Concealed Deadly Weapon"  is currently available for free download.  His mixtape "Lochness From the Midwest" will be released soon.He has currently released his debut album "Best Rapper's Threat: A Storm Is Coming" which is available everywhere albums are sold.He has recently featured in a cypher with Bizarre from the group D12 and Lil Buck Marley from G-Unit South. He has over 300 shows under his belt and is currently touring different regions. He also received radioplay nationally for his single "Sumthin' So Fly" off his debut album "Best Rapper's Threat".
