The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Pierce With Arrow. The collaborative project of minimal techno pioneer Troy Pierce and Colombian audiovisual artist Natalia Escobar aka Poison Arrow, recently released their collaborative debut, Shatter (DAIS), which is a powerful work of sound and visual art. Veering from the producers’ well known dance floor oriented sound, Shatter is a cinematic record which masterfully weaves through different emotions and atmospheres. Their mix for us takes their sound and constructs a mind bending journey.

The Parisian Techno scene has a vast number of players, but none growing exponentially like DJ & producer Nymed.

Nymed’s sound is characterized by a love for old school 90’s techno, with a no frills approach to mixing that sets him apart from his FX laden contemporaries. This revivalist sound has made him an in-demand artist locally at iconic French queer events like Spectrum & Myst, but it also allowed him to play on the international scene in clubs such as Berghain (Berlin) or Paragon Broadway (New York). 

Fluctuating between hypnotic and sensual, his music production work channels his DJing philosophy while incorporating trippy melodies and sexually charged rhythms.

We are delighted to welcome Parisian queer icon and beloved BPitch resident Maxime Iko as the latest contributor to our podcast series!

Having cut his teeth in the early 00s Paris underground scene, Maxime started out his career as a DJ alongside DJ Wild at the infamous Les Bains Douches, before going on to launch his own queer parties – ‘Cockorico’ and ‘Le Bal Con’ – enacting a deep commitment to supporting alternative queer scenes, and a growing passion for dark, sensual beats.

Ms. K aka Bella Demhat is a Stockholm based artist and trans-rights activist rising from Kurdistan. As a DJ, she plays the fast rave techno of queer underground scenes, with darling vocals layered on a daring groove.

In addition to performing regularly at clubs and raves in Stockholm, Göteborg, Linköping, Växjö, and Malmö. She has recently launched her new party series, QueerBron! QueerBron focus mostly on inviting queer artist around world to Stockholm.

Bella is on her quest to smash oppression and dance her way to freedom. Ms. K stands for something special, and we know you want some more!
