Consisting of seventeen genre-twisting tracks built from the duo’s trance-inducing musical blueprints, this imaginative remix album dives further into Liquid Bloom and PERE’s shared identity while exploring the cutting-edge world of psychedelic sound design.

Where 2021’s ‘Afar‘ hits its main stride in the realms of organic house, the 2022 remixes delve into a surrealistic mixture of progressive and broken beats within an omni-tempo framework, placing deep basslines and energetic grooves in brilliant opposition to the source material’s acoustic and vocal melodies. 

With reimagined tracks delving into lighter, darker, and more nebulous atmospheres, each author’s signature is made evident in the collection’s energetically diverse and emotionally magnetic structure, creating an experience for listeners that bares all of the hallmarks of a journey through the musical looking glass. 

As excursions into musical realms beyond boundaries become increasingly demanding, it is collections such as this one that reveal the persisting power of collaboration and the resilience of the creative spirit. While some elements of these songs may feel familiar — especially when compared to the source material — there remains an undeniable sense of discovery within each composition that will beckon listeners back into Liquid Bloom and PERE’s unified vision as well as into the expanded worlds of their remixers time and time again.

“Mother” by @niladevimama is dedicated to the Divine Mother in all things. Together with the sound of @marc-jb and William Llerena Murayari and their powerful presence throughout the album, from the first to the last song “Mother” speaks of the devotional nature of this album and of Nila’s artistry, which is inspired by her innate connection to her Gujarati Indian lineage as well as her connection to the Plant Kingdom. 

The sentiment across the songs is essentially about “becoming one with the Divine and experiencing the Divine in all things”, be it living or in the ether.

It opens with a powerful mantra which calls on the Divine Feminine energy of MahaLakshmi. Following this line, "Celestial Pearl" explores the romantic dance with the Divine and the telepathic connection between two souls vibrating in the same frequency and fragrance. It also references being reborn, to the Mother - or in Nila’s case, as the Mother - as a direct reflection or response to fully realizing Great Mother’s presence within. 

“Hablando a mi Corazon” (Talking to my heart) sings to the elements and the power of Pachamama (Mother Nature). The sensory experience of feeling the wind caressing the skin; the smell of the Bobinsana flowers; seeing spirits emerge from the majestic waters; are all symbolic of feeling the holy presence of the Divine, then merging into one with it all. 

As a teacher and spiritual guide on the plant medicine path, the plants play a constant and consistent role in Nila’s life and this is echoed in her music. Some of the songs were originally birthed in the jungle through communing with plant intelligence whilst in ceremony.

 You are invited to listen to this album from start to finish, as a healing journey, which concludes with a blissful meditation “Cielo Azul” (Blue Sky).

The intention of this offering is to bring peace and relaxation to the heart, and to call us into awareness of the importance of Divine Love, especially in these times. Divine Love is the Mother. The Mother is all loving, all forgiving, all encompassing. Let us live in reverence of the Feminine Force and the world will truly be restored to harmony and balance.

Stars of the psychedelic world like Hedflux and Land Switcher pump thrilling bass into “Roots of the Earth”and “Fire Gathering,” respectively. Kaminanda takes “Sacred Blessing” on a more than 11-minute epic journey. Numatik ignites new life into Fire Gathering .Suduaya, Momentology, Salis, and Nanosphere run the gamut from rich, organic strings and ethereal voices to dark, brooding, and bellowing sub bass covering the spectrum from delicate, ambience to pounding grooves. Medicine Fox is Production Artist, Musician and DJ  Shane Wilson. A proud member of the Choctaw Nation, his music draws inspiration from the ancient shamanic rhythms of human culture.  As a production artist , Medicine Fox began his career as a listener and a supporter in the studio, collaborating on numerous projects, such as Tulku,  Air Ananda, Sacred Ground,the Little Wolf Band and Deciduous and released his own material on several different record labels, including NewEarth, Quantum Digits and UMR.  As a musician, instruments such as guitar, synths, flutes, and an eclectic variety of percussion shakers and drums find their way into the hands of Medicine Fox.   
From years of deep listening and research, Medicine Fox has collected an extensive palette of unique music from all over the world.  Sharing these sonic discoveries as a DJ is a passion and a joy for Medicine Fox, who can be seen at regular gatherings in Vancouver and wherever he is called to around the world, with performances in the lush forests of the great northwest at festivals like Intention, Blessed Coast and OneLove to the great outback of Australia at BurningSeed.  In 2007 Shane received a Grammy Award for his part in the album "Sacred Ground - A Tribute to Mother Earth", the album won the award for "Best Album - Native American Music Category".
