On November 3rd Desert Trax presents Ayahuasca Remixed from Brazilian-born artist Poranguí Carvalho McGrew, translated and remixed through the lenses of visionary producers like Shamans Dream,AtYyA, Drumspyder, Kaminanda,Liquid Bloom, Numatik, Yaima, and many others. These 11 tracks were born from a prayer to bridge worlds from the consciousness of the master plant medicine onto the dance floor. It came to life through the meeting and friendship with musician and producer Sahuna Love (Shaman's Dream), and blossomed with the help of Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers & Desert Trax). Each song weaves the medicine of the original, while beckoning listeners to explore and express their prayers or meditations through embodied movement. Dedicated to the One Heart of all Creation, an invocation of remembrance, I created this song in deep communion with the Divine Feminine, a very loving and strong Mother Goddess energy, that came through me, and left me forever changed.  This had been the first time in 5 years I had even used my voice, and I wasn't even planning on recording vocals when I went into the session, it just came through me all in one night, and launched the Cosmic Sutras...

Shamana

Flugen is a global fusion project by Maya Aghniadis created in 2015.

Spending a couple of years performing unreleased tracks and collaborating with several artists, Maya experimented with new sounds and instruments, from ethnic beats to heartwarming melodies until Flugen’s sound was established.

The first 6 track EP “Lost Banjo” was released in 2017 with the collaboration of French cellist Marie Caparros.
A year later, the LP “ Ondes “ was created adding more vocal harmonies and progressive melodies to flugen’s sound.

Open-Label is a purveyor of quality world music , fusing a variety of mystic musical traditions from around the world. 
Curated by the production artist Medicine Fox.
Medicine Fox is Production Artist, Musician and DJ  Shane Wilson. A proud member of the Choctaw Nation, his music draws inspiration from the ancient shamanic rhythms of human culture.  As a production artist , Medicine Fox began his career as a listener and a supporter in the studio, collaborating on numerous projects, such as Tulku,  Air Ananda, Sacred Ground,the Little Wolf Band and Deciduous and released his own material on several different record labels, including NewEarth, Quantum Digits and UMR.  As a musician, instruments such as guitar, synths, flutes, and an eclectic variety of percussion shakers and drums find their way into the hands of Medicine Fox.   
From years of deep listening and research, Medicine Fox has collected an extensive palette of unique music from all over the world.  Sharing these sonic discoveries as a DJ is a passion and a joy for Medicine Fox, who can be seen at regular gatherings in Vancouver and wherever he is called to around the world, with performances in the lush forests of the great northwest at festivals like Intention, Blessed Coast and OneLove to the great outback of Australia at BurningSeed.  In 2007 Shane received a Grammy Award for his part in the album "Sacred Ground - A Tribute to Mother Earth", the album won the award for "Best Album - Native American Music Category".
