The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) comes from a dear friend and long time collaborator @sevn-ca

This week we have the huge pleasure of hosting Canada's Even Lemire, proud co-owner and creator of The Hidden Garden, It's been such a ride to have worked with SEVN on multiple projects over the last year or so! We also released his maiden EP a couple months back with some solid remixes, the album was deeply appreciated by the close knit community of downtempo lovers. This particular set is studded with heavy kicks which are very SEVN style - hypnotic and powerful and to top it all of it also got some kosa gems ^^. Grateful for this journey brother!

Seven is a magical number that is associated with synchronicity, luck, introspection, spiritual awakening, and the desire for a deeper understanding of life. SEVN is derived from this number and is focused on organic, deep and progressive music.

Boy With Boat and Jesse Kuch deliver the live recording of their closing set for the Love Camp session on the Tribal Council stage at Elements Festival 2021 in Queensland, Australia.

With festival classics mixed with the latest in melodic techno and progressive, including their new Joined A Cult Remix of James Monro's New Religion on Proton Music, it was the perfect end to a monumental festival. Ladyboss – Fire & Story

This is a warm up set that I played on Friday morning at @camp.peachy's 'Peach Club' activation at Secret Valley Festival 2025. There is something I really love about playing a warm up that I miss. It’s a chance to slowly build the energy and lay down the best vibe for the next DJ. I love watching the dance floor slowly fill and saying hi to friends visiting the camp for a morning boogie, peach pancake and mimosa. I think this has turned out to be a favourite of my chilled recordings, with some deep warm grooves that I love to spin.

The Peach Club at Secret Valley Festival 2025 was such vibe and It's been a real delight and honour to crew-in with this group of warm-hearted, hardworking, peachy goofballs. They always bring joy, giggles and generosity to all they do.

Open Records is a techno, house and electronica imprint based out of the sunny state of Queensland, Australia. Founded in the lush tropical paradise of Cairns in 2007 and now managed out of the bustling metropolis of Brisbane, Open has grown into a respected and prolific label with more than 70 releases from artists in all corners of the globe.

The Open sound is just that. Over the years we have released everything from deep, organic, progressive and tech house, to staunch minimal, hypnotic tribal, driving techno and abstract electronica. What has remained constant is our desire to represent the intelligent, groovy, dancefloor-oriented sound of the Australian festival and party culture, with a little help from our friends around the world, too.

Along the way we've managed to top the Beatport charts, featured in the playlists of some of the world's biggest DJs and radio shows and helped launch the career of some of Australia's most talented artists.
