Open Records is proud to present the first taste of our monster new compilation Expansion Pack II, compiled by label boss Jesse Kuch.

Jam-packed with 21 fresh tracks celebrating 10 years of Open Records, artists include Doppel, Jamie Stevens, Thankyou City, FunkForm, Moodmachine, Taya, Out Of Sorts, The Journey, Concierj, Tonelab, GMJ & Matter, Draztec, Maxi Basshead & Harry Blotter, dreamAwaken, John Baptiste & Liam Sieker, Verve, Mark Henning, Closer Apart, Christopher Brooks, Somersault, Victor Y and Oblique Industries.

With the exception of a couple of tunes from our favourite Swedish Brazilian and brothers from across the ditch, it's the biggest compilation of Australian progressive, house and techno ever released and a worthy sequel to the classic original by Woodsman, released in 2010.

mISSkARA is a Melbourne-based DJ, vocalist, and co-producer delivering high-energy sets that flow through deep, melodic, tech, and bass house into techno and psytrance. Her immersive performances blend bass-driven grooves with ethereal vocals, inspiring wild, embodied movement on the dancefloor.
Founder of Dance Tribe, a sober dance party now in Melbourne and The Netherlands, and creator of kARMANTRA, showcasing live shamanic vocals and sound healing, she has played festivals and venues across Australia and Europe. With releases like Through the Forest, You Are Not Alone, and SAMSARA, mISSkARA continues to share joy, connection, and the healing power of music worldwide.

mISSkARA is a Melbourne-based DJ, vocalist, and co-producer known for high-energy sets that get the d floor pumping. mISSkARA delivers soul-stirring sets that go beyond DJing, mass sound immersions in fact blending bassy, melodic, and vocal-driven sounds, flowing into tech & bass house then a good dose of techno or psy trance when the dancefloor is ready! This is all amplified by her contagious dance moves that unleash wild, movement for all on the dancefloor to embody! (You’ll know what we mean when you see it) Now an internationally travelling artist, she has recently returned from Europe where she played in Croatia, The Netherlands and Montenegro (where she was offered a residency at Torch Beach Club). mISSkARA has been on stages at events across Australia such as Rabbits Eat Lettuce (Glow Party), Modyfyre, Burning Seed, Confest, Lab Leaked Beats, Mystic Valley, Pre Genesis, Radonia, Terrestrial Awareness and performed at venues including Club KUCA Wonderland, Lemon Tree, ASTRA x JUMP, CIRCUS Nightclub, and Temperance on the Chapel Street. As a recording artist, her debut single Through the Forest with ASHMACRO blends heart opening melodic house with ethereal vocals and has already gathered thousands of streams. Their follow up, You Are Not Alone, is a deep tech cut with minimal lyrics and a powerful message. 2025 saw the release of "SAMSARA" with Bufo, JNR Boom & RepliKator, showcasing her range from deep tech to melodic techno and her ethereal vocals with light language induce goosebumps time and time again. SAMSARA was remixed into a bass heavy banger by Maxwell Mortisville and hit the sound platforms September 19 this year. As the founder of Dance Tribe, “a sober dance party experiment” by Music Is Medicine, she creates spaces for connection and healing through dance. Dance Tribe held monthly in Melbourne and recently launched internationally in The Netherlands, is proving to be quite the beacon for people to flock to each month for some good old fun...hangovers none! Her side project, kARMANTRA, showcases live shamanic vocals and sound healing, captivating audiences at festivals like Rainbow Serpent, Earth Frequency, and Esoteric Festival. With plans to perform across Australia and Europe again next summer, mISSkARA continues to share joy and connection through music the world over...because as her business name suggests...Music Is Medicine and she has the best job in the world bringing joy through beats.

Open Records is a techno, house and electronica imprint based out of the sunny state of Queensland, Australia. Founded in the lush tropical paradise of Cairns in 2007 and now managed out of the bustling metropolis of Brisbane, Open has grown into a respected and prolific label with more than 70 releases from artists in all corners of the globe.

The Open sound is just that. Over the years we have released everything from deep, organic, progressive and tech house, to staunch minimal, hypnotic tribal, driving techno and abstract electronica. What has remained constant is our desire to represent the intelligent, groovy, dancefloor-oriented sound of the Australian festival and party culture, with a little help from our friends around the world, too.

Along the way we've managed to top the Beatport charts, featured in the playlists of some of the world's biggest DJs and radio shows and helped launch the career of some of Australia's most talented artists. Not bad for a crazy idea hatched in a small city in regional Australia! Big respect to everyone who has supported us on our journey, we wouldn't be where we are today without you.

Started his career as a DJ in Nagoya in 2010. After gaining appearances and experience in various parties, he is currently organizing "Lovely Lovely Chao Bana-na❤️" with Kento Kumazaki at Nagoya Shinsakae Club mago.
In addition, a "sleeping party" is held irregularly at the Yakuzen bar Sakae at Nagoya Women's University.

The DJ style, which always keeps in mind the development with a story, has a comfortable flow even in deep song selection, and is worth listening to.

2010年よりDJとしてのキャリアを名古屋でスタート。様々なpartyへの出演と経験を積み、現在、名古屋新栄Club magoにて、Kento Kumazakiと共に”Lovely Lovely Chao Bana-na❤️”をオーガナイズ。
また、名古屋女子大にある薬膳bar栄にて”寝るパーティー”も不定期開催している。

ディープな選曲の中にも心地よい流れのある、ストーリーのある展開を常に意識したDJスタイルは一聴の価値あり。
