When I was a schoolboy in Liverpool in the 1970s I had a job at the Liverpool Stadium boxing and wrestling arena, transforming the venue overnight, for rock shows.  All the great acts of the day played there; Lou Reed, David Bowie, Roxy Music, the New York Dolls, the coolest place to hang out.  I've worked in creative ever since, I guess I never recovered...in a good way.
