Very nice sounds. Loving the bass especially. Just a thought - have you tried playing this with a quick tempo. I think it would be fantastic.

A tongue in cheek look at life and something we all must of thought about in our younger days on our journey to becoming a Rockstar that nearly but never actually happened.
Could we really cope with fame & fortune and turn into a complete and utter paranoid, drunken, drug using woe is me individual.

One of the best things about Soundcloud is meeting like minded people and collaborating. Look forward to seeing what 2024 brings. Special thanks to Noobly for us his hard work in writing and producing such wonderful instrumentals. It’s two years since we started the Conscience Of Kings project and we have recorded over a 100 songs together. The opening track off my first ever attempt at writing, recording, and producing and album by myself ("Instrumentally Challenged") (1999-2000).  I was trying to program a bass part for a different song and realized 3/4 of the way through that I made a mistake and it was way too fast.  Instead of deleting it I thought it might be fun to try soloing over it. 

The title comes from something two of my friends used to say all the time (once, a couple times once...).  Not sure anyone really knows why they said it, or why they thought it was so funny.

Day one was full of the almost.  It was all darkness, but within the darkness lied the fullest perfection and highest potential.  Awaiting the word. And when the word was spoken, with it came light.  Soon everything began to have a future. The past appeared too, and began it’s accumulation as another aspect of time; but it carried no regrets or foreboding. Because everything so far had been found to be good. 

So day one happened.  An early expression of God’s eternal love, yet given with full knowledge that his creation wouldn’t stay good.  But also given with full certainty that his own son Jesus would step up to make reconciliation for that.
