Modern Day Astronauts are an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 2015 by Mark Jensen (keyboards, lead vocals) and Benjamin Clingan (drums, percussion). Cody Russell (guitar, back-up vocals) and Johnny Narmita (bass, back-up vocals) completed the line-up soon after.

About me: I'm a multi-instrumentalist songwriter. I've been writing music for about 16 years. The music itself will always be the most important element to my writing, but over the last few years I've found enjoyment in interlacing layers of meaning, puns, and dumb personal references in my lyrics. I love to perform for a live audience the most though, which is depressing because of covid19. My biggest challenge as a musician is finding that place where I can record vocals with sincerity. My guitar's name is Hachimitsu, because it's finish is sabi'd orange, sounds sweet, and is from Shizuoka, Japan. 

If you're listening to my songs here then you can at least be assured the lyrics and melody are complete, even if the recording itself sucks.
