We have accumulated quite a backlog of truly delightful DJ mixes that must be discharged from the cannon! Next up after dubtommy's masterful and very well-received downtempo & trip-hop mix, we present a 1-hour session of perfectly chilled, deep, groovy house from Los Angeles-based DJ & producer, Zach DeVincent.

Also known for his trip-hop/downtempo productions as Zak Damundo on his 2017 album on Cold Busted, which was titled 3am, Zach has released his deep house tracks and remixes on a variety of other labels including Superordinate Dub Waves, 5 and Dime Recordings, Looq Records, ITOM, Acryl Music, Open Bar Music, Clear Recordings and Ban-Off Music. Avenue Red Podcast presents Kindred Music SA (real name Mckai Du Toit), a Cape Town and Johannesburg based artist who grew up in South Africa. He is an artist who enjoys designing and creating interesting atmospheric and ambient melodies and grooves inspired by downtempo, techno and house music. He released his debut album "Exposed" in March of 2021 on his label Pocket Food Audio, and has since featured on platforms such as DeepStitched, Hello Strange, SPACE VIEW X, Slow Sessions and Apnea to name a few.

Kindred Music SA started playing acoustic instruments at an early age, inspired by rock, soul, reggae and jazz from the era of the early 60s up to the late 90s. Later on he developed a passion for the endless possibilities electronic music had to offer, thusly evolving into an electronic music composer, producer, performer and DJ, with an enormous passion.

This session is quite short but very sweet and a refreshing tonic for the day of release, which is the longest day of the year - the summer solstice of 21st June 2023.
