300 mixes! What a journey. Big respect to those still listening since it all began back in the late 2000s, and a warm welcome to those who might just be tuning in for the first of hopefully a few more to come.

Thought it must be about time for another episode from Deepcast HQ, with Myles Mac & DJ Possum back in the mix for a relaxing journey guided by the eternal balearic breeze of the 90s. Two and a half hours of smooth summertime groovers with plenty of vocoders, utopian dream states and moments of total rave nostalgia. Dancefloor chillers for the deeply inclined and/or reclined. For the 29th entry in the Discos Movimiento mixtape series, Dutch-born, Berlin-based artist SaPu invites us into his singular sonic universe—where deep grooves, hidden gems, and rare records converge into something both intimate and expansive. A meticulous digger and storyteller, SaPu has spent years carving out his place across dancefloors from Club der Visionaere to Tresor, always favoring journeys over mere moments.

"The Only Way Out Is In" unfolds like a spiral—shifting between stripped-down hypnosis, shimmering psychedelia, and raw percussive textures. It’s a testament to SaPu’s refusal to be bound by genre, instead weaving a narrative that rewards patience and surrender. The destination remains unclear, but the way forward is undeniable—deeper, inward, through sound.

Two hours in the center of Tokyo with the best sound I've ever heard, dream line-up including Chida, 5ive and Powder and the perfect crowd that stayed until the very end. If there is ever a 100 out of 100 party, when you don’t have to prove anything behind the decks, but instead, just enjoy the ride, this one came the closest. RA pick, full room, no photo and video, family soundcheck, tons of friends, four channels, and alpha mixer. What else do you need?

Chez has a style that is hard to put your finger on, as Rio 017 well demonstrates. Recorded on the opening night of Bonanza, Chez kicked the terrace into action with a chuggy but cheerful selection of swampy groovers. 

Moving seamlessly from heads down tech house to breaks and EBM-ish numbers, Rio 017 is peppered with flecks of acid, swaying basslines and plenty of character. 

One to keep the summer flowing xx

Dedicated to the musical art since 2006, Fábio Pereira started to release as his first demos and, behold, his first release happens by a publisher called Plusquam Division (Germany) where since then the doors to successive new label agreements have been opened, where Proton family, showing the world how their first interpretations of Balkan Connection for example. Subsequently his name wins for his work where big name artists such as Laurent Garnier, Nick Warren, Ricky Ryan and Hernan Cattaneo supporting his themes in they’re international performances. Your genre is very chosen in deep with strong tendencies for progressive, melodic and groove. Years later, and with his fuller musical background, he reached an agreement with Sudbeat Music, Hernan Cattaneo's publisher, which has always supported him by playing his themes on his usual radio program RESIDENT which made him take a professional leap, obtaining reservations outside of their forbidding country, Portugal, with performances by the well-known ADE festival in the Netherlands (where he performed 3 times), Argentina (Córdoba and Buenos Aires) and Greece (Thessaloniki). Currently his discography is full working and has agreements with more publishers, also highlighting Sound Avenue, Juicebox Music, Particles, Armadillo, just to name a few ones.
