Not many have covered the ground like London's Richard Sen has. Starting his deep dive into the underground scene by being the much recognised Sen graffiti writer he has moved on over the years to be considered one of the UK's great selectors and DJ's. Having also released music under several guises, not only under his own name (which he also has wealth of huge remixes for artists like Bryan Ferry, John Grant, Unloved and LCD Soundsystem), but most notably under the phenomenal Padded Cell and the excellent Bronx Dogs. With his excellent weekly radio show on Charlie Bones' Do!! You!!! Radio station as well as dropping the award winning Dream The Dream (UK Techno, Breakbeat And House 1990-1994) compilation on Ransom Note, Sen finds himself with an even larger wealth of fans. With that being said we are delighted to welcome Richard Sen to the Off The Record mix series where he provides us with a 3+ hour journey taking us on a deep dive into his record selection providing styles of all kinda throughout. Joe Morris has been involved in the underground music scene for over twenty years. While not pinned to one particular sound, Joe’s inimitable style has taken him to perform in New York, Moscow, Paris, Milan, Ibiza, Geneva, Barcelona, Berlin, Hanoi and all over the UK using his vast experience to expertly craft emotive atmospheres from chill out scenarios to dance-floor energy. 

Crystalizing this ethos into his productions Joe has enjoyed a string of well received releases on a myriad of diverse record labels. It's an intoxicating cocktail that has seen him gig around the world and back again; from smoke filled basements to festival stages and all points between. 

Joe strives to leave no stone unturned in his search for the perfect beat through his Shades Of Sound record label and radio shows.

We leave you this beautiful mix for you to listen to with the shy rays of sun that are starting to come out, for your walks or your lazy Sundays. Either way, we loved this Balearic gem and can't get enough of it.

Shubostar's RA Podcast begins and ends with video game music. (The beginning kind of sounds like Mary Poppins, actually.) Lots of DJs and producers play or make music that emulates the nostalgic sounds of old-school gaming, but the South Korean artist goes direct to the source. Before falling in love with dance music, she went to an animation-focused high school and learned how to make video games—so it's basically in her musical DNA. And while her DJing isn't as out-there as you might expect from that description, '90s and '00s Japanese video game (and anime) soundtracks offer a good idea of what her playing sounds like: lush, synthetic and a little naive, full of wonder and positive vibes.

With releases on labels like Permanent Vacation, Internasjonal and her own uju Records, Shubostar is also a student of cosmic space disco, inspired by artists like Daniele Baldelli, Lindstrøm and Prins Thomas. Lately she's been rubbing elbows with Âme and Dixon. She picks tracks from across eras and genres on her RA Podcast, with cuts from Yellow Magic Orchestra, Baldelli and Kraftwerk alongside selections from DJ City and Private Agenda. It's a mix full of mood shits, dazzling keyboard runs and, of course, melodies that seem to reach out towards the heavens—or outer space.

Sharing a selection of music that has been put together by Lord Of The Isles is something we are beyond excited for. To showcase his perception of Far Blue, he has compiled a mix that conveys a limitless feeling like a far off horizon. Although Lord Of The Isles is an inspiring producer, he decided to take a different approach. 'Mirage Mountains' contains none of his own productions, but he has selected beautiful tracks from other talented artists only such as John Hopkins, Mary Yalex and Our Lady Of The Flowers.

"A limitless far off horizon with texture and noise. A distorted haze of the farthest away places. Making them seem almost imaginary."
