Joe has been involved in the underground music scene for over twenty years. and while not pinned to one particular sound, Joe’s inimitable style has taken him to perform in New York, Moscow, Brazil, Paris, Milan, Ibiza, Geneva, Barcelona, Berlin, Hanoi and all over the UK using his experience to expertly craft emotive atmospheres from chill out scenarios to dance-floor energy. 

Crystalizing this ethos into his productions, Joe has enjoyed a string of well received releases on a myriad of diverse record labels. It's an intoxicating cocktail that has seen him play around the world and back again, from smoke filled basements to festival stages and all points between. 

Joe strives to leave no stone unturned in his search for the perfect beat through his Shades Of Sound record label and radio shows.

Yuu Udagawa, who studied art and philosophy in high school, has since performed at clubs, festivals and fashion shows and is now a regular in the lounges of five-star hotels like the Park Hyatt Tokyo, showcasing her versatility as a DJ. Drawing on her insights and extensive experience in creating musical atmospheres invarious spaces, she continues expanding her musical creation journey.

In 2010, she composed "Blossom," the main menu BGM for Sony PlayStation 3 (Torne and Vita),captivating gamers. After that, she released several tracks for various projects. In 2021, her music caught the eye of German artist Manuel Tur, leading to her music being released through prestigious labels such as Compost Records in Munich, Germany, Cyphon Recordings in London, founded by Jimpster and Tom Roberts, to the up-and-coming Cosmocities Records in Dijon, France, and the popularRazor-N-Tape in Brooklyn, USA. These collaborations have boosted her international visibility. She was invited by Freerange Records in London to deliver a DJ MIX on Apple Music to celebrate International Women's Day 2024.

We asked Ewan to make us a short promo mix and this came in, totalling 32 tracks and clocking in at 2 hours 24 minutes! It opens with the sound of Mark Hollis’s voice as a nice nod to Spirit of Eden and then veers from drone through Balearic, Compass Point ish funk, Psych-y stuff and ends with Krauty excursions and a smattering of New Wave Pop.

When GLADE GLASTO got in touch wanting a DJ to bridge the gap from dub into house straight after the one & only Prince Fatty at Glade Dome, I jumped at the chance to play as LOST IN DUB for the very first time. Dub has always been my first love and the inspirartiion behind pretty much everything I do as a DJ even though I’ve spent a lifetime in house music. So, if I’m going to stand up there at Glastonbury then it can only be done properly offering some respect to the roots.

Thanks to all the teachers and dub pioneers who really deserve the attention. It was a joy to drop selections from my musical heroes including Jah Shaka - forever remembered and the sound of my youth - alongside other greats including Mad Professor, Channel One, Manasseh, Prince Fatty, Kibir La Amlak, Alpha & Omega +++ before delving into some dub house & dub techno which could have run & run...
