Hidden Spheres est un de ces producteurs qui frappe fort dès le départ. En à peine plus d'an d'activité, il est déjà présent sur plusieurs labels emblématiques (dont nos adorés Dirt Crew ) et compte 3 EPs en solo pleins de samples jazzy qui détonnent sur des rhythmes chauds dans un style House sans prise de tête. Tirant le plein parti du "less is more", ses morceaux brillent souvent par leur construction impeccable et leur simplicité rafraîchissante, qui appelle à la danse et à la détente. Les mélodies sont douces, pleines d'harmoniques sybillines, et les mélanges sonnent toujours juste, touchant à un tourbillon de références des musiques modernes.

Marco Celeri x Mixology

Jakobin is the solo project of DJ and producer Georg Nadler. Growing up in the 90s in rural upper Austria, Georg spent his time skateboarding and listening to lots of hip hop before witnessing the halcyon days of the Vienna downbeat era and later being introduced to Austrias club culture. Pursuing his growing passion for collecting vinyl, Georg started spinning his first records in the notorious „Kijani“ in Linz. There he invited Djs like the Vienna Scientists or the one and only Mr. Slack Hippy. After moving to Vienna, Georg had a two year residency alongside future label mate Simon Lebon in the Donau Techno, Vienna’s first adress for Techno music back then. While his gigs at the „Donau Techno“ helped him explore the deeper shades of techno, acid and electro, he also began spinning disco and house records with his long time friend Dominik Huber. Quickly getting immersed in Viennas electronic music scene, the duo started producing and DJing under the Moniker Jakobin & Domino and became founding members of Luv Shack Records in 2011. After a number of successful releases on Luv Shack and several EPs for the legendary Chicago label Large Records, Jakobin & Domino became a staple in the Viennese house scene and played several gigs in Berlin, Paris or Geneva. Recently he also teamed up with his other longtime friend and Artist Peletronic, releasing EPs on Fortunea Records and Hungarian Hot Wax under the Jakobin & Peletronic moniker. Jakobins sound is a testament to years of open minded record collecting, encompassing influences from downbeat, hip hop, techno, disco, house, funk, afro and jazz. His growing collection of analog gear also helped shape his productions as of late, and so it comes as no surprise that his first solo track was picked up by the highly acclaimed Futureboogie recordings in 2020.
