The 'bleep' scene took place in a very short time span in the early 90's in England, but it was incredibly influential, as it was the previous stage for the IDM and Europe's rave scene, the starting point for labels so important for electronic music such as Warp, Outer Rhythm or Network. The 'bleep' scene is that essential 'missing link' to understand the raising of artists like LFO, Aphex Twin, 808 State, Autechre, The Future Sound Of London or Nightmares On Wax.

Tonight's show, we are showcasing the music of Michael Zucker, the owner of Finale Sessions, and a top producer in his own right. Michael has been involved in the dance music industry for a long time now, and has run the labels, Finale Sessions, Future Sessions and Finale Sessions Limited for over 10 years, as well as djing for the best part of 25 years. Unfortunately Michael is currently fighting cancer, so it got me thinking to the impact he has in the electronic music scene, which was the reason behind putting this show together. Please join me in sending prayers, and positive vibes to Michael, in his fight to overcome this terrible thing called Cancer.
