Matt Newberg aka DJ NEWBY    

Repping Los Angeles, CA, Newby began deejaying at the age of 12. He was mentored by some of the most respected DJs in Los Angeles including Mr. Choc and DJ Ruckus. Initially focusing on golden-era hip-hop he has expanded his tastes to blend funk, soul, and disco. He's spun everywhere from large stages as an opener to house parties to restaurants. 

He brought his talents to the east coast six years ago after enrolling at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he met Lani. Matt has recently focused on building mobile internet applications and remains an avid record collector, recently discovering a new passion for 45s.

Mike Djilani aka DJ LANI
 
Hailing from New York, sharpened in Philly, and refined in France and Jordan, DJ Lani brings to the tables a perfervid pulse of the people. After purchasing the singles of The Notorious B.I.G.'s "Mo Money Mo Problems" and Daft Punk's "Around The World" at age seven, he knew Hip-Hop and House would be his audial passions. 

Lani has been leading parties and curating mixes for over six years, having played at a wide array of venues up and down the east coast. With his encyclopedia-like knowledge of music, diverse experience, and genre-crossing interests, Lani can play to any crowd, bar none. Lani's deejaying goals are three-fold: to share his love of music with old and new friends, to expose party-goers to fresh and non-mainstream sounds, and, of course, to spread a good time.
