Mak & Pasteman return to Midas for its second release, this time stepping out under a new alias, Echosystem, alongside long-time friend and collaborator Arkive.

The project blends Mak & Pasteman’s rugged, club-focused production with Arkive’s melodic touch, carving out a sound that moves between light and dark with sharp precision.

Lead track “Drifting” pulls from across the electronic spectrum, balancing tension and release with emotive synth work and driving, body-moving rhythms. “Juniper” ups the energy with breakbeats and haunting vocals, a thread running through the EP, while “Forest” closes things out on a deeper, more introspective tip, a stripped-back roller that’s equal parts weighty and hypnotic.
