Siphoning ounces of that baggy swagger from the spectacular Urban Hymns, and pumping their own brand of mellow psych into the mix, The Sailmakers give us another taste of what they’re made of, and they’re proving a force to be reckoned with.
There’s a calm yet persistent energy running through Mountain Song, the band have a direction, but they’re in no hurry, slowing it down to an easy stroll but harnessing an excellent groove.
It’s a cracking blending of 60’s psych throwback, The Babe Rainbow, a steady dose of Brit-Pop and a stir of the more serious, sense-boggling work of Toy.

"In the short time since putting their heads above the parapet in 2012, the Sailmakers folk rock sound has changed somewhat and has seen a shift towards the purple haze side of the airwaves. A lot of groups are jumping on the bandwagon of the modern psych movement with some fantastic bands out there slinging audible dope and its the massive shot in the arm that British music needs.
Preach Preach Preach has a definite groove on guitar with a kick ass melody that instantly has your head nodding along and although the signature reverb effects are plain to hear, the main guitar riff maintains a high degree of clarity and not so much of the haze side of things. The wider sounds seem to redress this and with lyrics like “On the astral plane I’ve got a lion to tame” there’s plenty going on for all you day trippers to get your teeth into. Overall a cracking tune that’s well worth a listen and if the material that’s forthcoming is more of the same then we will be giving it a good spin."

Johan B. is a 24 year-old DJ. Attracted by electronic music for many years, he loved watching the performance of his idols like David Guetta, Afrojack and more recently, Hardwell. 


When he was 16, he decided to make his own sets without trying to make his own music. A few months later, he created a Soundcloud account where he posts some of his sets, mashups or bootlegs. At first, his music was only listening by users of Soundcloud and, later, was supported by upcoming french talents like Morgan Nagoya or DJ Assad on one of the most listening radio in France: NRJ ! 


With one of his friends, he had the chance to perform in many clubs in eastern France and festivals. Last summer, he participated in an event that was attended by over 4000 people. He shared the decks with DJ Furax, Miss Roxx, John Revox, Phonk d'Or and many more. 
But now he decided to become a solo DJ. He is a resident Dj with Miss Nine, Juicy M or Xantra on Parazhit, one of the best webradio in France with more than 120 000 listeners / day.


The beginning of the young career of Johan Nosila is beautiful but it's only the beginning!
